Career Education: Formulas for Business Success

Formulas for business succcessI’m very excitted about my course Formulas for Business Success. Although at work we already apply this Technology and use the formulas, it is definitely incredible how valuable the information I have been exposed to is. I’m in a learning process and it feels great to become more able as I learn this valuable information for my career education. I’m convinced this is the best tech to apply to any job area. The more I know in regards to management and administration the greater my passion has grown  towards Hubbard’s Technology. Thank you Hubbard College and all executives that make this happen.

Career Education: Management by Statistics

HCA- Blog 21I have only taken a couple of courses as part of my overall career education at the College and every time I get more data it does not cease to amaze me how precise this technology is. We have partially introduced it into our workspace and the results are incredible. Taking the guesswork out of every decision we make is phenomenal. Looking forward to the next one!

Associate Degree: Seventeen and Just Completed High School

HCA- Blog 20I first started here about one week ago for my associate degree. The minute I walked in the front door, I knew this was the school for me. The way you feel inside this school is amazing, you feel right at home. The faculty is great and they take the time to know you and make sure to help you in any way possible.

I have finished two courses since I have been here and I’m getting great results on my tests! Who doesn’t like good grades? The best part about it is that I REMEMBER what I learn. It’s an amazing feeling of accomplishment when you learn something, remember it and can apply it.

Usually when you come to a new place whether it’s a school or place of business, etc you have an uneasy feeling. It’s like, you don’t know where you quite fit in; I can tell you that when I came here I knew exactly where I fit in. I fit in right here, maybe you do too!

Career Education—Increasing Efficiency

HCA- Blog 19I just finished an apprenticeship on the course, How to Increase Efficiency in Your Company as part of my career education at the Hubbard College. The apprenticeship site that I worked in is a Recording Studio. It was really interesting to see the area when I first came in and how it was when I left. It was quite disorganized when I first went in and when I left I could see that the Executive felt like she could actually work there now. It was confrontable to her and she can now do her work more efficiently.

This is really key data to have and know how to use. If it is for your own company or even just for your own job and life, it’s extremely important. There are so many things you may be doing that are causing you to run into huge problems. With this data you know the source of the problems and how to handle it with ease.

Success Story from Associate Degree Student Who Received Classmates’ Help

HCA- Blog 18I am extremely thrilled that Janz Gonzalez and Elena Kalinina could pull off selling Canon’s album! In the past I have tried to have people sell our CDs to cold public and they were not successful. The difference with these two is that they had sales training as part of their associate degree. It really does pay off to be trained in selling and to be able to overcome objections the prospect has and get him to commit.

I also am happy that they took names and info of people who were interested in the CD but didn’t have cash. I will be contacting them and with my sales training, selling them on not only a CD, but on an upcoming show as well.

Sales Training Success Story—Associate Degree

HCA- Blog 17The sales apprenticeship was the last one in my Associate Degree. And I was really excited to get it done.
I had some options for sales but since the beginning I wanted to sell in person, for me it was more interesting than to make sales over the phone. Because of this, I chose to do my Sales apprenticeship for CANON – musical band of which one of Hubbard College’s students is a member.

I always thought that sales is not an easy activity but this time I decided for myself that it should be a game where I will apply the Sales Tech and magic – I got the result! :-) .  We had people listen to the music and, if they liked it, they bought the CD. Simple! This showed me how demonstration of the product can perfectly work. Also I realized that every salesperson should be very positive and upbeat, that understanding is a super important management tool for sales and life!

I really believe that if someone wants be a successful salesman, he should take this course and be really armed with this knowledge.  He will be able to sell anything. That is a real career education!

Associate Degree: Ethics for Business Survival Apprenticeship

HCA- Blog 16I am glad to do this apprenticeship for my associate degree because I got more experience on helping a person go up through his states of operation and really increase his observation, ability to possess and improve the situation. I also understood that knowledge is power, and ethics is the steering wheel. These two things cannot go separate. If a person did not have the knowledge to do things, he will have trouble. If the person did not use Ethics, he still would get into trouble.  Just like a car, if you did not have any power, it will not be able to move to anywhere. If you just have the power without the steering wheel, you will not know where you will end up.

The Formulas for Business Success are a way to make a person to use reason (reason = ethics), and thus get out from the mud. I felt good about this data.

Career Education: Strong Intention Is Key to Getting Things Done

HCA- Blog 15I am Gloria Liu.  I finished the course ‘How to Get Things Done’ as part of my career education at the Hubbard College of Administration.  It was a very tough course for me, however I got through it.

The first thing I learned is control. I realized that sometimes I cannot get things done because I did not control it.  Starting, changing and stopping are the main factors of control; none of them can be left out.  I started, changed but I did not stop, therefore I could not finish the work.  I started, then I stop before completing my changes, that was why I did not do the work properly.  Sometimes, I did not even start.  These are all simply factors but vitally important ones.

From this course, I know that intention is the most important factor when giving command. In fact, we do need to give a command or order in order to get things done, or we will end up doing everything ourselves. This will not only make us do too much work, but also it will result in inefficiency no control.  It is easy to give commands to people who have the intention to obey the order.  However, in the real world, not everyone is willing to do what you ask, then that is the time when the intention is needed and needed strongly.

Sometimes I found it hard to put intention, not because I do not have intention. I thought I put my intention in the command, and I had a strong intention on it; however, they did not feel it. It is very tough to keep giving commands, but no one listens. It is really annoying.  At that time, I just wanted to do it by myself, but that should not happen and I knew it.

I believe that intention can be practiced and also can be trained and that is also one of the purposes of this course. Having strong intention is going to make everything easier in life, either on getting along with others, the work force, or at home with family. Life will be awesome.  Imagine that everything follows your intention!

Associate Degree: Immediate Application in the Business World

HCA- Blog 14Do you know what Financial Planning is?? I know!!
I finally understand what ‘FP (Financial Planning)’ is through the Financial Planning Apprenticeship in the Associates Degree.
What is FP??  FP is basically how one uses the funds one has to keep things running well and make more income.
After the theory part of FP, I went to a company in Pasadena, California and helped them to implement the workable FP system. When I was there the first time they were using their original program for FP and it was very, very complicated. I saw a lot of ‘unnecessary’ numbers and formats, etc., which were different from the correct FP tools and systems.

I applied what I’ve learned and just corrected them completely! Their FP is now very simple and smooth, but workable and profitable.

I gained this awesome knowledge and experience through this apprenticeship. The good thing about this college is that I have a chance to go out and experience the actual business world. I can try everything I learned from the theory course there and see a lot of new things which will help my future. I can see myself changing a company and bringing them prosperity.

Well, I really enjoyed this apprenticeship and now I can help other companies or myself financially!!

My Associate Degree Courses: Sales

HCA- Blog 13

Associate Degree and Sales

In the beginning of my program I knew that the Sales Course would be the last one in my Associate Degree and honestly I didn’t want to take this course.  It was probably because of the false data I had about Sales. But this course helped me realize what sales really is and that the ability to sell is very important to be successful. When I know that my product is a valuable one and that people will benefit when they buy it, then it is much easier to help people to decide to buy it. It will be an honest, valuable exchange.

If a company or a person can not sell its product in a short while it will be bankrupt even though they produce a superior product and promote it very well. My other biggest realization while doing this course was that every day we sell something: the idea to go watch a movie with friends, to go to a restaurant―just IDEAS! It is really cool!
