"When I began practicing dentistry I was eager to service everyone. After all, that is what doctors do. However, I had no management technology and found myself frustrated and stressed out. I was constantly looking for an answer to improve as a person and improve my practice. After being in the field of dentistry for six years and only getting by with great effort, I was introduced to the Hubbard Management Technology and began to apply it to my practice. I saw results instantly in myself and my practice. My stats sky rocketed."

Career Education for the Business Owner

HCA- Blog 12Financial Planning

Financial Planning really helped me to see the many layers of making any business financially stable and obviously more capable of handling money effectively. It really breaks down all the possible ways to making any business succeed, survive, and expand affluently. People in business should definitely take this course as part of their career education, so finance would no longer be a problem at work but would determine great future outcomes for their business.

Policy

Every company needs to send their employees including themselves to take “How To Write Effective Company Policy.” This course emphasizes the importance of having policy in business. Good policy based on actual circumstances/situations experienced, strenuously followed, makes any company expand and prosper. Policy is a guiding principle and one that makes games exciting—overcoming oppositions and barriers. Furthermore, since policy guides procedure, there is a great likelihood that policy implementation will become a predictable eventuality in business as well as in life.

Career Education for Business Owners: How to Get Things Done

HCA- Blog 11I have taken seven or eight courses for my career education here at Hubbard College of Administration, and this one was definitely the most fun. This course has many drills, which got me moving around the building interacting with many students. I hadn’t been on course for a while, and so I didn’t know many of the students. It was enjoyable getting to know them even though they were very tough in trying their best to challenge me during many of the drills.

But seriously, the biggest thing I learned on the course was to keep my focus on the target, keep my intention high and disregard the distractions that may try to derail what I need to get done.  Hence…How to Get Things Done!

Career Education: Handling the Ups & Downs in Life

HCA- Blog 10The greatest win that I got from Handling the Ups & Downs in Life course for my career education was the ability to confront those that may be suppressing me in my life.  It has been amazing to notice the difference in my self at the workplace after learning this data.

Associate Degree: Formulas for Business Success

HCA- Blog 9I am Gloria, a student from Taiwan. I am doing the associate degree program at Hubbard College of Administration, and I finished the course ‘Formulas for Business Success.’

Business is all about production, and the most reliable evidence for measuring the production is statistics. This course is all about the statistics and conditions of existence. What should you do next when your business is doing well with a gradual increasing statistic? What should you be handling when your performance crashes horribly? What should you do when your business remains on the same level, not increasing and not decreasing? What should you be fixing if your business does not seem to exist?

I like this course very much because this is not only about the business’s production, but also individual’s production or performance. In this course, I have learned there are formulas that can correct any condition.  The formulas for conditions could be used for either. This always works.

Let’s say that I am watching a TV program every night until 2 o’clock in the morning, and I wake up at 8 o’clock in the morning because I need to go to school. I would not have good production at school because of lack of sleep.  Day after day, I do not have enough sleep. What would my production be? What would my condition be? My production would be decreased day after day and my condition would be called Emergency. Now is the time to apply the Emergency condition formula.

There would be occasions when I am doing something pretty well and am improving my production in my personal or professional life every day. This is a Normal condition. Now is the time to apply the Normal condition formula. See how it works?

If you want to improve, you need to know the Technology of Conditions Formulas.

By knowing the Technology of Conditions Formulas, we do not have to just count on luck.  We need to work hard and simply follow the formula of each condition completely and that will lead us to success. It is simple, and it works.

Associate Degree: How to evaluate and predict human behavior

HCA- Blog 8Have you ever thought, “Who can I trust?” “Who can I believe?” “Who can support me when I need them?”  In this course for my associate degree, you can find the answers to the above questions.

It looked like a serious course, but actually, it is an interesting one. This course is amazing; it gave me a whole new view on those questions; and explained every single thing about human behavior. I liked this course a lot.

After doing this course, I understood more about the Tone Scale [which shows the level of emotion of a person], survival, non-survival, the relation between human behavior and emotion, and the agreement level in different emotional tones. It was really cool!

This course handled my confusion about human behavior. Before this course, I had no idea how to deal with different people. Now I know how to raise the tone level of another, thus creating better agreement, increasing good communication and improving the affinity between each other! And I know how to observe the obvious. I had lots fun with it. I felt great about this!

Career Education in Action

HCA- Blog #7When I first saw the introduction of Hubbard College of Administration, I was pretty amazed that we actually have a school that focused on the application of student’s knowledge.  After each course, we go to a business to do an apprenticeship where we actually apply the data.

For example, I just finished an apprenticeship on the course, “How to Increase Efficiency in Your Company” as part of my career education which I had a chance to work with one of the executives from the publishing organization.  And I worked with one of the executives to spot what he’s actually doing at work that slowed him down in order to pick up the efficiency in performing his job. He’s basically in charge of those who print a booklet and binds them up. The interesting part of doing this with him is that, at the beginning, he thought that there wasn’t really anything that he did that would cause him to be less efficient.  However, once I showed him some of the data from my course, he started to realize, “Oh! No wonder that happened when I do this….”  Anyway, at the end of that day, he was excited about how I’ve helped him, and I’m winning too knowing and seeing how the data that I’ve learned is that powerful and can be used with ease on getting people to get their work done!!

Associate Degree: Financial Planning

HCA- Blog # 6Hi everyone. My name is Damiano Shehu and I am a student at the Hubbard College of Administration.  I recently finished a course on Financial Planning for my associate degree and I would like to share my wins with you guys. First of all, I really enjoyed this course because it is as applicable in business affairs as it is in everyday life. I mean everyday, whether it is business or personal matters, we deal with financial decisions. So, wouldn’t it be great to have a practical and applicable guide to base your financial decisions on? Well, that’s what this course did for me. I now have an understanding of what money really is and how money is exchanged within the society to form an economy.

Next, if you in your personal life or business want to survive and be able to expand you will have to make more money than you spend. This seems pretty simple, right?  Well, let’s take a look at large corporations in the USA, especially during this economic crisis, and we see that these corporations are spending way more than what they make. What are the consequences of that? Massive bailout sums reaching 10s of billions of dollars. Now you are probably thinking if it was that easy everyone would do it? Well here is a misunderstanding in economics. Let’s say our company is in an emergency. We are spending more than we are making. Now, how do we solve this situation? You would immediately think of saving money by reducing the budget for promotion and lowering production rates, etc. By doing so we spend less money but also we MAKE less money. We have bills that are overdue, taxes to pay, employees and all of the other expenses. Next month, we end up economizing more and cutting off more promotion and production and we continue down this road until we meet a seemingly friendly banker that offers us a loan at really tremendous interest rates. Stuck in a corner with nowhere to go we are forced to agree to the loan, putting at the mercy of that banker. This happens to a tremendously large number of new businesses.

So, what do we do to effectively handle this emergency? The first step is to PROMOTE. The only way out of an emergency is income is to promote. By doing so you make your product and services known to the public and that will result in new people coming in for services or products. This increases production and income. Now that you have successfully promoted you economize and don’t waste money on unnecessary things. But you always keep promoting, the moment you stop promoting. The moment you stop promoting your income will steeply decline.

The above and many other financial theories were covered in the Financial Planning course. This is one of the best courses I have done so far and I would strongly recommend it to any business owner who wants to prosper in these dark, economic times.

Associate Degree: Without survey, I can’t survive…!!!

HCA- Blog # 5I just finished my HCA Associate Degree Program Surveys Course and am on my Surveys Apprenticeship!

From the theory part of the Surveys Course I learned a lot about the importance of surveys. We need to know what service you can deliver people will consider valuable enough to give money or valuables for. If you don’t do any surveys or if done incorrectly, you won’t be able to succeed in your business, since you don’t have the reality or viewpoint of your public. You can’t promote something they really don’t need and want, they won’t buy anything from you! Mr. Hubbard said, “Failure to survey can cost you thousands in ineffective promo and tens of thousands in lost statistics.” So this course was great because now I can do surveys correctly and get the right result out of it. Full understanding of this important tool for the business will enable me to achieve prosperity!

After the Surveys Course, I helped a Survey company in Sunland, CA, as a Surveys Apprentice. They were having a project for the Valley area and needed to find out the opinion of their public by doing a quick survey, I was assigned to that project. I created three survey questions, I went out to a town in the Valley and surveyed 150 people total, tabulated the survey results, etc.  With this practice, now I can apply Survey tech fully.

Through this apprenticeship I reviewed the importance of communication. If there is no communication, you can’t do anything with other people and just become individualized. You can’t understand other people, you can’t fix the relationship between you and your friend, you can’t sell stuff to other people, etc. My first survey question didn’t work well with my public, they couldn’t understand the question right away. This means that there was not enough of a high communication level between my question and my public. So I reworded and increased the communication level of that question, until I could obtain very good result out of it.

Surveys are one of the most important communication tools for any company. The company uses surveys to communicate with its public and finds out everything about the public. With that information you will be able to build up your strategy, you will find your way to prosperity.

I really enjoyed this Surveys Course and the apprenticeship.
I’m a Surveys master now!

Associate Degree: Effective Leadership in Action

HCA- Blog # 4I like this apprenticeship.  It was so fun, and I really applied the data I learned from the “Effective Leadership” and “Executive Basics” courses that I took for my associate degree. Now, I think I can tell my workers to get things done. I knew how to handle situations as they arose.  I can be a good executive, a good leader. Thanks everyone who helped me do this apprenticeship.

What my company representative had to say:

Kenny Chen and his team helped me to hand out the fliers for the Japanese sushi restaurant, Tatsuki.

Tatsuki lost one of its staff members recently and promotional action was needed very badly. We had more than 10,000 fliers but no one could hand them out to our potential customers. Kenny and his team helped me and handed the fliers out to our local potential customers.  They distributed 2,327 fliers in one day!! Their promotional action made our restaurant known to a lot of local public and would enable us to have an increased gross income.
Kenny and his team did a great job.

Thank you very much!

Hiro Suganuma

What my team had to say:
Today, I helped Kenny with his Executive Basics & Effective Leadership apprenticeship. He is a nice person. He usually gave me good direction and acknowledgement and this made me able to finish the task. Finally, we finished the task on time with lots of flyers handed out. It was a good experience for me regarding promotional actions. I learned lots of things.

Jack Cheng

In this apprenticeship of Executive Basics & Effective Leadership, I really found out that this technology really works. Kenny told us the purpose of doing the assignment and hatted us. He then showed us how to do it and did the drills with us.  He organized us into teams to complete the assignment. We reached the quota and exceeded it. It was a really good experience as Kenny also noted down everyone’s statistic so he knew how well each team was doing.  He then managed by statistics.  For me, it really worked.

It’s really important that people know this Administrative technology and apply it with certainty and good intention. Thus the assignment or other actions can be done.

Josh Lin

Kenny gave us a real target, which was possible to achieve and at the same time, required honest work to accomplish the target.

We had good rapport and I understood the job and how to do the work correctly. When handing out the fliers, my attitude was so important because it affects people’s attention on the fliers.
I had a good time and felt good working hard to achieve the goal.

Career Education: Why learn? How to learn? And how to apply what you learn?

HCA- Blog 3I took an amazing course, “How To Achieve Effective Learning,” at the Hubbard
College of Administration International for my career education. It revealed the real causes of people becoming incapable or even stupid—the misunderstood word.

On this course, I found out how to handle it. I also learned so much data of how to correctly study, which I never knew before, although I’d already completed my university degree before coming here. The data in this course is simple, but so true, and very applicable.

From this course I discovered how to handle different sorts of difficulties I may have while studying.  I also learned how to help people study and improve their judgment. All of them not only just help myself but also can I use them to help other people as they get into trouble on studying, and it really works. It’s so amazing when I really know one subject with no misunderstood word, I can perform and apply it. Thus the misunderstood word is the main reason that why people they can’t apply or perform what they learn. Now I really see that.

Through this course, I know how to do study as I am doing it. I have more certainty and confidence that I can apply what I learn now. And isn’t the purpose and reason a person learns something to apply and use it in his life?

To apply, don’t go pass any misunderstood word. You must fully know and understand what you are studying.
