Associate Degree: Executive Basics Distilled Common Sense

Associate degreeI am Toby Grim, an American student from Phoenix, Arizona on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

The “Executive Basics” course was very helpful. Although I got a lot from this course, it was funny because at times the data just seemed like common sense at the same time, it was previously unstated vital information. It’s amazing that someone like L. Ron Hubbard took the time to perceive, articulate and publish all these tools for the world to utilize. I can’t wait to apply this information in my father’s company and to share with him whatever he may not know about it. I see the future as being very bright.

Associate Degree: Business Expansion

Associate degreeI am Gloria Tieni Liu from Taiwan. I just finished the course “Ethics for Business Survival,” for my associate degree program.

This course outlines operating states (conditions) that a person or organization could be in that are below Non-Existence and the formulas to apply accordingly to raise him upwards. For instance, we might have an employee that cannot produce or that is in trouble all the time. No matter how many times you help him or how much effort is put into the training, he just doesn’t function correctly. This is because he is in a condition below Non-Existence. That’s why it’s so important to spot the right condition and apply the right formula for that condition.

The reason for applying the right formula for the right condition is to expand. It is not only the expansion of a business but also the expansion of an individual.

There is always a condition or operating state of existence. And as importantly, there is always a formula to apply that will improve that condition. If a person applies it, it will definitely work.

The data about conditions and formulas are really useful in one’s life. For instance, if I want to reorganize an area of my life, I determine what condition I am in and automatically I know what formula I should apply to improve that condition. I have experienced it and it really worked! Conditions and formulas are the most useful tools of administration that I have learned.

Associate Degree: Demonstrated Practical Leadership

Business peopleMy name is Fabian Padro and I am the CEO of Elite Management Group Inc here in Los Angeles California. I had the opportunity to have John Vannier and his team from Hubbard College of Administration do an apprenticeship to help our group and our client The Los Angeles Medical Center. John only needed to be told what was needed and wanted and he put together a program, which is a written sequence of actions necessary to accomplish an objective, and his team went to work right away.

On day one, John and his team organized our engineer’s area down in the
basement and got everything done in a timely fashion to the point where the engineer came up to me and said,“Hey these guys are great. I need to get a list of things ahead of time next time they come because they work so fast.” John and his team were always professional and came on time and never needed much guidance. In summary, you told them once and they got it done. I would highly recommend John and his team and the Hubbard College of Administration to any business owner.

My Best,
Fabian Padro

Career Education: Business Success Is Not a Matter of Time but of Know-How

career educationBy Shannon Lavenia from Los Angeles, California on the Continuing Education Program for her career education at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA. Shannon is the owner of Lavenia Enterprises, LLC.

While on the “Executive Tools” course, I split with a business partner. While this could have been devastating, I was able to make the decision because I had a greater understanding of good business practices; I was empowered.

I immediately started to attract new business and suddenly found myself inundated with more business than I thought I could handle. So, I sat down with my husband (at the “Productivity Workshop” here at Hubbard College of Administration) and worked out my Organizing Board. I also brought two of my staff with me to the Workshop. They were totally blown away with the information and began immediately applying it. Using the newly constructed organizing board, I identified where we were missing staff and hired them.

With the tools gained in the “Executive Tools” course, I began hatting, training on duties and responsibilities of one’s position, my staff and putting the organization lines in. As a consequence, our production went up. Everyone is working together well and is eager to do a great job. All of this occurred over a four-week period, which would be absolutely astounding to most people. But, with the Hubbard Administrative Technology, it doesn’t take a lot of time to implement organization and increase production, it just takes knowing what to do and how to use the tools of management.  We are monitoring our statistics, a number or amount compared to an earlier number and amount of the same thing, applying the proper improvement formula for the determined operating condition, and enjoying the increased income that it is bringing.

I recommend this course to any business owner or executive who wants to get production up and keep it up while maintaining a happy, successful staff.

Associate Degree: Money Management

Associate degreeBy Josh Lin, a Taiwanese student from Taichung on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

Finance is a subject everyone must deal with and care about and sometimes even worry about. In actual fact, it is not something really difficult or complicated nor is it something that will bring you hardship as long as you have the knowhow.

I just completed my “Financial Planing” course. I realized that many schools and people have made this subject so much more difficult than it should be. In this course I learned the fundamental and vital basics of finance that one should know if you are going to deal with it.  More specifically, this course elaborates how to deal with money, handle bills, sign checks, deposit money in accounts of different types, keep exact records, etc. These are the understandings that help people manage their finances, achieve solvency and good credit or maybe just have money to buy some leisure. These are the objectives that people spend all their time trying to achieve. It’s not a tough subject if you grasp the knowhow. But unless you get the key, you cannot open the door to solvency and financial success.

Career Education: How to Effectively Handle Work

career educationI am Greg Lewis, an American executive from Los Angeles, California on the Continuing Education Program as part of my career education at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

There are some terrific principles in the “How to Effectively Handle Work” course that any manager or business owner can use to help his or her employees that are having trouble on the job or are simply stuck in mediocrity even if the employees don’t realize it.

Following and implementing these methods will make happy employees, teams, and departments. Furthermore, these techniques support overall harmonious and profitable business success for many years to come.

This stuff is not complicated but it sure works like a charm.

Career Education: How to Get Things Done

career educationWhen I began the “How to Get Things Done” course as part of my career education, I didn’t quite know what to expect. You would think that the title would say it all but there is much more involved than one might guess. The material extensively refers to intention and getting your intention across in order to get actions completed. The course is built on such a comfortable gradient that it was easy to watch my intention growing as the course progressed. Actual growth in ability during study helps facilitate taking what has been learned and applying it to the outside world. It’s amazing what you can do with intention alone.

I also didn’t realize how great of an environment the college is. This course in particular requires a lot of drills and multiple partners to get through them. Unlike other colleges, people at the Hubbard college  are very quick to work and help one another, as if it is everyone’s goal to get each other through the programs. It’s refreshing to see that people care about more than just their situation and improving it on a single individual level. That is the biggest thing I learned through this course. In order for your organization to run it takes the willingness to work together even if you don’t receive immediate compensation. You will achieve success only with strong intention of doing so.

Associate Degree: Increased Productivity

associate degreeI am Andy Dutko, an American student from Clearwater, Florida on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

I love what I am learning here at Hubbard College of Administration, the courses I have taken have made it simple for me to become more productive and responsible in everyday life.

The last course “Management by Statistics” was about representing production by statistics so one can monitor the actual effectiveness of any project or organization. Not only can one monitor results but one understands what to do if production takes a dive. One knows how to get it back up or, on the other hand, one is aware of how to strengthen any boosts in production that may occur due to changes an organization makes.

This is only the beginning for me, but being able to assess correctly the operating state of any individual, project or organization as well as how to improve that state, in my estimation is one of the most important things I could have learned from the huge variety of courses offered here at Hubbard College of Administration.

Career Education: How to Handle the Drop-Out Rate

career educationI just completed the “Basic Study Manual” course as part of my continued career education and was thrilled to discover there are actual proven methods in overcoming many learning obstacles.  I’m excited to be able to share what I’ve learned with co-workers, friends and family.

If the Basic Study Manual was used in the various school systems throughout the country, the children themselves could take back the educational process to make it work for them, instead of against them.  I am certain we would see drop-out rates dramatically reduced.

Let’s make this learning tool available to the public!

Career Education: Are you bugged? I have all the answers for you!

Career educationI am Eiman Rahnama, an Iranian student from Tehran on the Consultant Levels program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

Have you ever run into a bug (slang for a stop or snarl in the way of production) and didn’t know how to handle it? Or, you tried to handle it but it was not the correct handling? Well, I have the answer for you! This course “Professional Product Debug Course” has all the tools an executive, manager, or even an employee needs to handle these stops in their production area.

In my life, I have encountered many stops (bugs) and a lot of times I didn’t know how to handle them so I either gave up or had to go through tremendous effort to “debug” and handle it.

Imagine, you are trying to set up an organization and suddenly you hit a stop, nothing is happening, your staff can’t produce; some of your staff are goofing off and slacking etc. What do you do at this point? Do you stop? Do you hire more personnel? Do you fire everyone and start all over again? What should you do? The most basic thing that you MUST do is inspect the bugged area. Observe what’s happening, look don’t listen to what your staff have to say, find out for yourself. You may be surprised at what you find! After you do this step, sometimes you will find the snarl and be able to handle it right there and production will start to happen! If not then you need to come to Hubbard College of Administration to start your career education and take this course! This course contains a checklist that you can apply to pinpoint the bugs in an area and indicate how to handle them!

I would like to know, what are some other ways executives try to handle the bugs in their area, and does it always work and give results? With the technology in this course, you can have this certainty.
