Associate Degree: Immediate Application in the Business World
Do you know what Financial Planning is?? I know!!
I finally understand what ‘FP (Financial Planning)’ is through the Financial Planning Apprenticeship in the Associates Degree.
What is FP?? FP is basically how one uses the funds one has to keep things running well and make more income.
After the theory part of FP, I went to a company in Pasadena, California and helped them to implement the workable FP system. When I was there the first time they were using their original program for FP and it was very, very complicated. I saw a lot of ‘unnecessary’ numbers and formats, etc., which were different from the correct FP tools and systems.
I applied what I’ve learned and just corrected them completely! Their FP is now very simple and smooth, but workable and profitable.
I gained this awesome knowledge and experience through this apprenticeship. The good thing about this college is that I have a chance to go out and experience the actual business world. I can try everything I learned from the theory course there and see a lot of new things which will help my future. I can see myself changing a company and bringing them prosperity.
Well, I really enjoyed this apprenticeship and now I can help other companies or myself financially!!

Hey Hiro,
I totally know what you mean, I had the same realization after I had done Financial Planning. I have to admit I didn’t know much about it before I studied it on my associate degree.
I’m curious though, do you find it as easy to apply these FP principles to a big company as to a small company?
Sincerely,
Jerome Garot

I’m sure he did find it easy to apply it, FP can be appy to any bussiness regardless its size! Even a single person applying it to himself can put orders into its accounts or if it is already in order make it more profitable.

Jerome and Franco,
Yes, I think I can apply this tech to any size of the business. Maybe it takes a little while to implement the FP tech fully, and I need to work hard towards that, but if I follow the FP references exactly and completely, I can change the FP condition of a large Organization very easily!
If I need to handle FP of a large size company I would like to gather 3 or 4 people who were already hatted on FP, to do whatever we need to do for them.
But, yes, the principles will work!!

I actually finished the course myself and I was wandering the same thing. I concluded that it can be applied to small as well as large organization. The only difference would be the effort that would be required to implemented in a large organization.
And I agree with you that the principles do work regardless of size.

Damiano,
That’s a good point. I also think I need to put a little more effort to handle a huge company’s FP but is very doable.
Well done on your course! And you will enjoy your FP apprenticeship, brother!! I bet!!
