Associate Degree: People Skills
I am Toby Grim, an American student from Phoenix, Arizona on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
I had a good time working with Fabian. I’d met him before and he was always a cool guy so I was thrilled to work with him on this “Handling the Ups and Downs in Life” Apprenticeship. I’m glad that I could help him realize a few things about his situation that he hadn’t realized previously. He said he was having wins throughout reading the material; that was really cool to be a part of.

Toby was great and professional. His knowledge of the material was excellent. The success I had was on the ARC Triangle (A= affinity, R= reality or agreement, C= communication). Although I had gone over this ARC Triangle thousands of times, I learned something new about intention and how if the person you are trying to handle has no intention of hearing you or listening to your advice it can create an upset.
