"The management training we took at the Hubbard College has turned out to be a real lifesaver for us. Soon after our training we began applying it and the business flooded in. Anyone can have a successful business if they apply what they learn at the College. The management technology is simple, easy and fun, not to mention financially rewarding.""

Associate Degree: Different Targets, Same Executive

My name is Jack Cheng.  I’m a Taiwanese student from Kaohsiung on the associate degree program at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.  I just finished the How To Make Planning Become An Actuality apprenticeship.

BuildingThis apprenticeship was great for me.  I learned how to lay out the steps to achieve a goal. I can clearly see the different points on different targets; how they work and how I can get people to execute them.

One of the tasks on this apprenticeship required me to plan a campaign, which I’ve never done before. I created it from the beginning to the end. I carefully executed every step and put conditional targets as needed to have better control. I became very comfortable doing this.

Now I have the ability to design, lay out and execute a plan. I gained much more from this apprenticeship, such as the ability to give a public speech, to control things in an event, to organize people and motivate them to enjoy working with and for me.

Business Degree: Public Relations Defined

My name is Jamie Chang.  I am from Los Angeles and am studying at Hubbard College of Administration International to earn my Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration.  I just finished the Public Relations course.

I used to think that a public relations person (PR) is someone who looks pretty or handsome, dresses nicely and standing on some stage making a speech.  It wasj0289528someone meets a lot of people. At that time, a PR position was a really interesting and admirable line of work. Yet it was something that was quite easy.

After learning this course, I realize being in PR isn’t a piece of cake. To become good at PR, you have to have the ability to handle every possible circumstance with an ability to confront and get the best solution for the majority of the publics. I’ve gotten so much out of this course!  One thing that is very new to me is that PR is not just for a company or a business. PR tech can actually apply to your own personal life as well. During the course, I learned how to handle any rumor or lies about me that may be created and how I can avoid them along with making myself better known as well.

Associate Degree: Creating Policy

My name is Alex Edwards.  I am a degree student on the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.  I just finished the How To Write Effective Company Policy apprenticeship.

I know you’ve been neglected from my regular blogs for a couple months, so here’s one to make it up to you! Enjoy!

On this apprenticeship I got the opportunity to work with the CEO of an Electric Service company. The CEO had recently started promoting his business more, but was still questioning whether he should continue doing it or not.  He also wanted to implement a new method to his promotion.  He presumed the major barrier in accomplishing this would be for him to get everyone in his business to be able to understand, agree and comply to both continued promotion and to a new method without a lapse in their production. This is where I came in.

I spoke with CEO, and once having been briefed on the situation, was able to write him a policy that encompassedPolicy all of what he wanted to be made known. I did so in such a way that was easily comprehendible to the staff. I even checked with his personnel and made sure that they had duplicated fully what the policy was attempting to communicate. Now that Carlos has this policy issued in his company, there won’t be any question as to whether or not promotion should be increasingly done each week.  Also, the employees are well on their way to including the CEO’s new method of promotion.

You really don’t know the magic of policy until you’ve seen it in action. The reason why policy would ever get a bad name is because the person reading it just doesn’t understand it or the policy was poorly written and not effective in carrying out its purpose. Well, this apprenticeship allowed me to achieve the ability to confidently and competently write an effective policy, get it understood and followed!

Business Degree: Executive Decisions

My name is Edwin Chou and I recently finished the Personal Integrity apprenticeship at Hubbard College of Administration International.

j04433672What is right? What is wrong? This has been an argument for thousands of years and in every economic climate. From this course and apprenticeship, I know what is right and what is wrong. Moreover, with this knowledge I have the management tools to teach people the correct sense of ethics and morals.

This apprenticeship has given me experience in using tools to help staff overcome past mistakes. The procedure process of completing the tasks on this apprenticeship actually employed exact steps!

Degree Program: Define Your Publics

My name is Daphna, and I own a Life Coaching company in Los Angeles, CA.  The following is a success story I wrote from degree program student Jonathan Turton recently conducting his Surveys course apprenticeship in my company.

j0283537Since opening my office last year, I hadn’t defined my public.  The first win I had on this project was finally doing so.  Jonathan referred me to the some data from his course on “wrong publics.”  It was through learning this data that I finally worked out this very vital point!  I now see how absolutely indispensable that action was. Then came the surveys.  I was surprised at the buttons that came up.  I was very far from them in my marketing efforts.  I also gained the valuable data on what images and symbols positioned with my products/services.

For the first time, I am actually ready to put together the right promo for my business, and effectively introduce myself to my potential public.

Thank you for your help!

Associate Degree: Hiring the Right People

Hi, my name is Monica Gonzalez, and I am from Mexico.  I just finished The How To Evaluate and Predict Human Behavior course and apprenticeship.
One thing you learn about on the course is the chart of human evaluation.  This is a chart that assists you in plotting where one is at based on behavioral characteristics displayed by an individual.  Itís very interesting to fully understand the human chart of evaluation and all the characteristics of the Tone Levels.  I understood the importance of having high/up tone people working for you and with you.  And by doing so, one can increase or decrease the success of the business.
Understanding the level of responsibility, communication, and the way people in different tone levels can receive and hand out information is unbelievable! It can help you a lot.  You spot lower toned individuals and this will help you determine what those individuals are capable of with regards to carrying out assignments or level of accountability.
Having all this knowledge will cause me to hire the right people when I start my own business. It is now the ability to surround oneself with the right people that will help you grow and expand.

Continuing Education: Formulas For Business Success

My name is Robert Turton.  I am a doctor from Santa Maria, CA.  I am a continuing education student at Hubbard College of Administration International, and I just finished the apprenticeship for the Formulas For Business Success course.
I can see the relief on the staff member by identifying the real cause of what happened in her area to cause a down trending situation.  It was not that she was getting lazy and not doing her job.  It had just gotten to the point where she was not able to accomplish all the extra work she had due to increased number of patients seen and to being under-staffed.
I can see how this staff member will now see the true benefit of logging everything she is doing, so she can be accountable.  On the other hand, and most importantly, one will be able to identify any bad situation before itís allowed to get any worse.

Business Degree: Success through Application

The following are three testimonies from staff at a marketing company where recent graduate, Brittany Seymour, conducted some of her apprenticeships.
When Brittany started working at the company, I knew that she was being trained at the Hubbard College.  I knew this meant that she would be using the tools here to help with her schoolwork.  What I did not realize was how much her apprenticeships would help the company. Brittany has done numerous projects here and they have all proven to be successful.  The last project she has been working on was the best.
Brittany came in, talked to me about what needed to be handled within my company and then took off from there.  I did not need to do anything other than sit back and watch my statistics go up.  Her application of the Administrative Technology has been incredible and the entire company has turned around since she has been working with us.  Thank you for all of your hard work and Hubbard College students are welcome any time!î

Going over what Iím supposed to do with Brittany made me understand what I am actually supposed to be doing.  I see that I play a big role in this company and that what I do makes a difference.  It was nice to finally be told what exactly I should be doing and to see that when I do it, things change.

Brittany was able to help me with my learning in the computer department.  I have heard her talk about Hubbardís study technology tools in the past, but this time I was able to actually put them to use.  I want to teach my son about these tools to help him in school.  Learning about the computer department is very easy now and I know it is because of what Brittany did with me.

Associate Degree: Graduate Success!

My name is Brittany Seymour.  I am a degree student from Los Angeles that is working as an account manager at a marketing company while completing the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.  I just finished the final internship as part of the degree.
The internship was GREAT!  I was really able to see that I have so many tools at my fingertips that can better any company or organization.  I also saw that the changes I was making within the company Iím working at was helping not only the company as a whole, but also the individuals.
Putting to use all that I learned at Hubbard College of Administration International has become something I do every day.  I barely even realize it, but I find myself referring back to the materials from the college to help others all the time.  This data is incredible and the Associate of Applied Science degree in Management and Administration internship really showed me that I can effectively look at any organization, find its flaws and turn the scene around for the better.
