Associate Degree: People Skills, How To Be An Executive

I am Alex Edwards, an American student from Tujunga, California on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
Doing the ìExecutive Basicsî Apprenticeship brought about fantastic results. You get to drill many scenarios where you are the executive in charge, and you have to make things go right when they are definitely going wrong. You get to actually think with what you learned in the ìExecutive Basicsî Course, ensuring that you can use the tools perfectly. Once you get to the point where youíre drilling the scenarios perfectly, you really see the difference between doing it with the executive basics tools versus doing it without those tools. It is quite a significant difference indeed.
The final part of this apprenticeship dealt with me being in charge of a small group operation that lasts from 5-10 hours. I had to manage three people and get them to get the work done. It was a non-trivial test of my skill as an executive. Not having managed a structured operation like this before made me very excited. I was eager to apply all of the tools that I had garnered in my earlier courses here at Hubbard College of Administration. Specifically, my task was to get 70 surveys of the correct public for a construction company done within a 5-10 hour timeframe. My team and I managed to get all of them done in just over 5 hours. I was able to make the operation run smoothly while simultaneously keeping my juniors interested in getting all of the surveys done within our time allotment. As a result of our success, I feel completely able and competent as an executive, and I feel that I can handle even larger projects without a sweat.

Associate Degree: Valid Survey Questions Elicit An Emotional Response

I am Damiano Shehu, an Albanian student from Tirana on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.  I recently finished the ìMarketing and Public Relations Surveysî Apprenticeship.
I had a great time during this apprenticeship. I learned that surveys are not only fun but very useful for a business too. By applying the data I learned on the ìMarketing and Public Relations Surveysî Course, I was able to get a great result. I got the buttons, which are the answers that were given the most number of times to each survey question. In addition, I was able to determine the positioning, which is the placement of the product in somebodyís life or mind and in relation to other products, based on the buttons.
When you survey people you get various types of responses. What conventional survey takers usually look for is a ìyesî or ìnoî type of question. These types of questions do not bring about an emotional response. It is extremely crucial to be able to get an emotional response.  Once you have an emotional response from your survey question, you can use that answer in your promotion.
I think that this apprenticeship was great, and I would suggest it for anyone that works in promotion and marketing.

I liked the ëHow to Evaluate and Predict Human Behaviorí Course very much. Now, I know how to spot other peopleís emotional tone. This is actually very important. I donít want someone who has low emotional tone to work with me. Why? I want to be with happy people. When working with people who have low emotional tone, they bring me down, or maybe I need to work extra hard just to keep my emotional tone high enough.
Looking back to my past, to what I did and to what other people did, I now know why I did what I did and why they did whatever they did. I know the Hubbard Chart of Human Evaluation, and it predicts specific correlations between emotional tone and action or behavior. Itís really amazing!!

Associate Degree: Planning Course

I completed Policy course and I realized that no matter how small an activity is, there must be a BASIC PURPOSE. You keep your BASIC PURPOSE and you are moving toward your GOAL. Because the BASIC PURPOSE is also somewhere you are trying to achieve.  I can say that someone works with BASIC PURPOSE and make sure he always goes with it, then he must see the result – the whole activity will flourish and go into affluence.
So, how to make the above happen? There must be something that can help. Itís policy! Policy is a rule or procedure or guidance which permits the BASIC PURPOSE to succeed.
Some business fail, maybe the only reason is that nobody in the office follows the policy or they donít even know they have policy or even they donít have any policy. Then, when they have any situation, no matter how small it is, they just have no clue of handling it and they wind up with a collapsed company.
I believe nobody want to reach failure and everyone wants to win. Now you have technique – Policy. Apply it and forward your BASIC PURPOSE. Now you know your ideal scene is waiting for you and your life will be successful.

Associate Degree: Management Tools

I am Alex Edwards, an American student from Tujunga, California on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
During the course of the ìFormulas for Business Success and Management by Statisticsî apprenticeship, you make huge positive changes in your life and the life of others. You figure out exactly what you are producing and what operating state that activity is in. You actually set yourself a production assignment (quota) on each of your products and then list out all the steps necessary to make that quota a reality (targets). While you are doing this, you are applying the formula which corresponds to the operating state the activity is in which will result in your production moving up into a new realm as measured by your statistic, which is a number or amount compared to an earlier number or amount of the same thing, for that product.
As a result of this apprenticeship, I achieved certainty and confidence in my ability to scale graphs correctly as well as determine the correct length of time in which to manage production. Also I could easily tell what operating state my production activity was in and, as a result of that, apply the precise condition formula indicated to improve the situation.
As one of the tasks in the apprenticeship, I had to look at all the key things I was producing in my life, then apply what I had learned on the two courses mentioned above for three weeks in order to increase the production of those key things. My application consisted of keeping graphs, applying condition formulas, implementing quotas and targeting for each of the main products in my life. As a result, I achieved increases in all of my statistics. I could see that through intensive use of this data I can keep my statistics increasing and, should they fall, remedy the situation right away. I have to say that I have never been so productive before in my life, and it was all due to applying this data. It has amazing value and I will surely keep using it because after all Iím striving for growth, not non-existence.
The best part of this apprenticeship was helping an executive of a small business increase her sales. She had been having trouble keeping her sales in a viable range and just couldnít seem to change the situation. I went to her business and helped her determine which operating state her production was in based on her statistic. Next, I helped her plan out the exact steps she was going to take to raise her production (targeting) as would be measured by an improved statistic.
While helping improve the small business ownerís production, I began to see how different it is to help another raise her statistic in comparison to my own. With my own personal statistics, it was a lot easier just to discipline myself and make all of my targets, but with someone else I really had to make sure that they got her targets done in order to raise her statistic. After a couple weeks, her stat had gone up, and she was very happy that I had shown her these tools. Iíve kept in touch with her and her sales are still up in comparison to before. I now feel totally confident that I can help anyone increase their production as measured by increased statistics through the management tools of managing by statistics and formulas for business success!

Degree Program: Marketing Apprenticeship

I did my Marketing Apprenticeship at Fresh Aire Duct Cleaning.
This was such a fun apprenticeship that I enjoyed so much and I learned a lot about the subject of ëMarketingí. Now I can promote and sell anything to the WORLD!!
First of all I needed to know about the product very well in order to sell it or promote it. If you donít know about your product very well you canít make any promo piece for it. You canít let the other people know about it. You canít sell it. Before I started this apprenticeship I wasnít aware about the air duct cleaning industry at all. So I needed to learn about it from the beginning and it was very interesting.
I went to the actual job site and observe the air duct cleaning service. I even went up to the attic with one of the employees and took some pictures of the employee who was cleaning the main air duct system with his tools. Now I know the air duct cleaning procedure very well. It was such a valuable experience for me.
Through this apprenticeship I realized something pretty cool. With the tech I learned from the Marketing course, I can promote anything and everything if I want to! I can get the result very easily, without having any problem. I can create want for any kind of product, from anybody! The tech is very simple and amazing.
I designed a promo piece based on the survey result and the owner of the company liked it very much. They printed 10,000 copies of it for their promo campaign. One of the sales ladies started using my survey result when she was closing the sale over the phone. After a week, she achieved the highest statistics for weekly GI of ìhome air duct cleaningî!
I really enjoyed this apprenticeship. Even though Iím an apprentice, it was very nice to see the humongous effect I created on the actual business, using my newly attained Marketing abilities. This increased my confidence concerning my knowledge. If you look at the world you will see a lot of misunderstood technology, promo pieces and PR campaigns. Iím sure that my products are more effective than some current successful marketing companies and will continue to improve my skills in the years to come!

This course, ìHow to Evaluate and Predict Human Behaviorî has data that is very important for every manager. After finishing it, one can predict how people will act under certain situations, whether a person is being truthful with you or whether a person is the ideal employee for you and much more.
This course contains a total of ten lectures on the subject of human evaluation. One learns about the main emotional tones people go through and what to expect at each of those levels. One finds out why there are people who get stuck at an emotional tone and why over time people start to go lower in emotional tones. Also one learns about how there are eight ways that man is trying to survive; these are called the Dynamics of Existence. When a person makes a decision that positively affects the majority of the dynamics he will be happier. This is called an optimum solution. One also learns what three factors determine an individualís personality. The last tape is about something very important; it covers the data about how to increase fondness (Affinity), level of agreement (Reality) and communication (Communication) between people. These three things are actually interdependent and if one is lessened then the other two are as well.  For example, if there is someone you just couldnít seem to agree with, you would be less likely to speak with that individual and your fondness for him would lower as well. Same way in reverse, if one can agree with someone easily one is more inclined to talk to that person and would enjoy his presence.
Emotional tone has a lot to do with Affinity, Reality and Communication. For instance, people who are angry wonít agree with cheerful people and people in grief wonít agree with people in fear. However, people who are in fear will agree with others in fear and the same goes for people in anger. To learn more about why this is so, I suggest you get started on the course.
I had a lot of fun doing this course and learned a lot of information that I didnít have before. All of this data has helped me in my relations with others and choosing the right people to be around. Itís given me tools to predict whether someone is responsible, understands easily, or gets sick easily. If managers had this data, they would have the ability to choose employees that would help their business survive and prosper. They could base their sales techniques so as to persuade any individual to buy their product(s) or service(s). Associate Degree: People Skills

I am Toby Grim, an American student from Phoenix, Arizona on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

Associate degreeI had a good time working with Fabian. I’d met him before and he was always a cool guy so I was thrilled to work with him on this “Handling the Ups and Downs in Life” Apprenticeship.  I’m glad that I could help him realize a few things about his situation that he hadn’t realized previously. He said he was having wins throughout reading the material; that was really cool to be a part of.

From the subject:

Toby was great and professional. His knowledge of the material was excellent. The success I had was on the ARC Triangle (A= affinity, R= reality or agreement, C= communication). Although I had gone over this ARC Triangle thousands of times, I learned something new about intention and how if the person you are trying to handle has no intention of hearing you or listening to your advice it can create an upset.

Associate Degree: Improving Personal Relationships

Doing the “How to Evaluate and Predict Human Behavior” course was so much fun. I had a huge win from the course! As the title of the course indicates, it taught me so much about how I can handle problems about personal relationships and how I can get along with the whole environment and raise the emotional tone of any group wherever I am. I felt more and more confident talking to people as I got more knowledge from this course.

The “How to Evaluate and Predict Human Behavior” course is actually an extension of the “How to Get Along with Others” course; they are based on the same concept. The key concept is that having high affinity, the same reality, and being in good communication leads to survival and new level of understanding.

I have always been very interested in studying human behavior. In fact, I’m very happy that I fulfilled that desire by actually studying it. As a result, I have the ability to spot others’ emotional tone and can handle personal issues without difficulty! Last, but not least, I feel I understand this “magic tool” the Emotional Tone Scale. The scale can help me determine whom I should hire as an employee in my future business. And right now, I can use it to determine the emotional tone in my vicinity when it drops down and have the tool to bring it up again!

Associate Degree: Do You Really Know Who You Are Talking To?

associate degreeI am Weber Chung, a Taiwanese student from Taichung on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

For centuries, people have been talking about how to evaluate and predict human behavior. Fortunately, I just completed a course “How to Evaluate and Predict Human Behavior” that gave me some fundamental tools to accomplish that long-sought aspiration. The primary tool is called the Tone Scale, which is a scale indicating the different levels of emotion.  According to the Hubbard Chart of Human Evaluation Tone Scale, each tone has a predictable corresponding range of behavioral characteristics.  Therefore, once we can spot a person’s emotional tone, then we can infer the kind of person with whom we are interacting.

When we know the emotional tone, we can answer questions like “Is he someone who works hard? Is he ethical? Does he handle responsibility well?” Thus, we know whom to choose to hire or even to be our friend. Also knowing the emotional tone, we know how to build agreements with others because each tone level has its own standards for building agreement, communicating, increasing affinity, etc.

So, collectively, this course provided me with tools that I can use in my personal life, on my job, etc. So, I recommend that you learn these tools and you’ll be ready to go!
