"I attended a Productivity Workshop at the Hubbard College and it really opened my eyes to the fact that there actually was a workable technology that anyone could learn. I toured some businesses in Los Angeles that were using Hubbard Administrative Technology and I was impressed. I saw that these companies were growing and expanding and I wanted to know it for myself."

Associate Degree: Financial Planning Can Save the Day
Hi everyone. My name is Damiano Shehu and I am a student at the Hubbard College of Administration in Los Angeles.
I just finished my ìFinancial Planningî Apprenticeship. It was great. I worked with a company that manages two commercial buildings. I worked with the Chief Financial Officer of that company and helped her implement various aspects of the Financial Planning Technology.
The first actions I undertook were to thoroughly audit the companyís files and get a complete picture of its current standing. After that I worked with the executives of the company on how to improve that existing situation. Being able to apply what I learned in a real world scenario was great. I really got to see how the economic situation is affecting actual businesses. Furthermore I saw that by applying the data that I learned on my course a business could actually prosper even in these tough economic times.
Overall I had a great time doing this apprenticeship, and I feel really secure that I can apply what I learned to any real world scenario.
The HCA is a self-paced business school that offers an exceptional business administration curriculum, unique learning technology, life-changing apprenticeships and internships, assistance with job placement and a lifetime warranty for students.  I am currently on the ìMarketing and Public Relations Surveysî Apprenticeship.

Associate Degree: People Skills, How To Be An Executive

I am Alex Edwards, an American student from Tujunga, California on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
Doing the ìExecutive Basicsî Apprenticeship brought about fantastic results. You get to drill many scenarios where you are the executive in charge, and you have to make things go right when they are definitely going wrong. You get to actually think with what you learned in the ìExecutive Basicsî Course, ensuring that you can use the tools perfectly. Once you get to the point where youíre drilling the scenarios perfectly, you really see the difference between doing it with the executive basics tools versus doing it without those tools. It is quite a significant difference indeed.
The final part of this apprenticeship dealt with me being in charge of a small group operation that lasts from 5-10 hours. I had to manage three people and get them to get the work done. It was a non-trivial test of my skill as an executive. Not having managed a structured operation like this before made me very excited. I was eager to apply all of the tools that I had garnered in my earlier courses here at Hubbard College of Administration. Specifically, my task was to get 70 surveys of the correct public for a construction company done within a 5-10 hour timeframe. My team and I managed to get all of them done in just over 5 hours. I was able to make the operation run smoothly while simultaneously keeping my juniors interested in getting all of the surveys done within our time allotment. As a result of our success, I feel completely able and competent as an executive, and I feel that I can handle even larger projects without a sweat.

Associate Degree: Valid Survey Questions Elicit An Emotional Response

I am Damiano Shehu, an Albanian student from Tirana on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.  I recently finished the ìMarketing and Public Relations Surveysî Apprenticeship.
I had a great time during this apprenticeship. I learned that surveys are not only fun but very useful for a business too. By applying the data I learned on the ìMarketing and Public Relations Surveysî Course, I was able to get a great result. I got the buttons, which are the answers that were given the most number of times to each survey question. In addition, I was able to determine the positioning, which is the placement of the product in somebodyís life or mind and in relation to other products, based on the buttons.
When you survey people you get various types of responses. What conventional survey takers usually look for is a ìyesî or ìnoî type of question. These types of questions do not bring about an emotional response. It is extremely crucial to be able to get an emotional response.  Once you have an emotional response from your survey question, you can use that answer in your promotion.
I think that this apprenticeship was great, and I would suggest it for anyone that works in promotion and marketing.

Associate Degree: Evaluating & Predicting Human Behavior

I am Alex Edwards, an American student from Tujunga, California on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

In modern day industry, businesses look for people who can get things done–not just stand there asking questions but actually get what is asked done. It is hard to believe that all businesses hire the right people to work for them, based on the contents of a resume. Granted what one knows is important, but what one can do is vastly more important.j0182826

The How to Evaluate and Predict Human Behavior Apprenticeship utilizes tools that can help an employer find right people for employment and get their on-going cooperation. As my first step of the apprenticeship, I drilled various scenarios that could come up in the employer employee relationship.  For instance, what would I do as a senior when a junior who has juniors inhibits his juniors from doing things that they thought vital to their success. In addition, I had to think of questions that I could ask applicants in order to find out if they would help the company expand or cause the company to shrink. I used the data learned in the course as the basis for my questions.

On the final task of this apprenticeship, I had to manage two people on a small project for a few hours, keeping them productive and cooperative. I managed the distribution of 100 brochures of a bridal gown & costume designer to local businesses, utilizing her two sons as my team. Using what I learned from the course, I was able to manage my juniors with ease and got the entire project done within the given time frame. Below are success stories from the business owner and my juniors.

Success Stories from My Team

I had a lot of fun doing this task with Alex and my brother. Alex really handled us well and kept us producing. He was very easy to agree with and lead us in a professional manner. What was very cool to see was that he was able to get my brotherís cooperation in helping us. He is usually shy about these things and Alex was able to actually have him walk into a business and confront them. They accepted the brochures and my brother ended up having a large win on this and wanted to help more without us having to do anything to persuade him. Another great thing about doing this was that it helped my mom out a lot, I know that she has been wanting to get these brochures sent out for awhile but since she has to make the dresses and I cannot drive anywhere it had not been able to be achieved. Thanks to Alex this cycle finally got finished and it couldn’t have been done any better. I would work with him again anytime. —Josh Gluck

At first when we started handing out the brochures I was a little reluctant to actually do the work. Alex noticed this right away and talked to me and got me to cooperate without force or criticism, I actually had wanted to do it. I walked into a floral business and told the lady there that I was working for a designer and asked if I could leave some bridal brochures for her customers to see and she said ìyesî cheerfully. I had a large win on this and felt eager to do more and I felt more confident in my ability to communicate with others. I want to thank Alex for this win and I would work with him again for sure.  —-Aaron Gluck

Success Story from the Business Owner

Alex came to do another apprenticeship for me. I had him and my two sons deliver brochures to local businesses. They were given 100 brochures to hand out with a target of 10 businesses. Alex did this task swiftly and got the product. He even got my shy son to go in and talk to the businesses about leaving the brochures in the stores. He said that after Aaron did it once, he then said that he wanted to do more. I was very happy about this. Alex is professional and shows up when he says he will. He is knowledgeable in the task that he is about to undertake and does it with certainty. It is a pleasure to work with Alex.  —Debbie LaFranchi

As you can see this apprenticeship prepares one to be able to handle others with ease and keep them efficient.

AG00528_On a broader scale, the information included on choosing the right people for a job could be applied to governmental positions. Using these tools, senators, governors and even presidents could be correctly chosen. The people who would hold these positions as a result would make optimum solutions for their governing area. The areas would experience not only prosperity but peace as well. It might seem a little far-fetched to some that this data could bring about such dramatic and positive changes in societies all over the world, but it is a truth that can be validated. This tool about human evaluation and prediction is one of the most powerful and vital tools available to man.

Associate Degree: What Are You Rewarding in Your Business?

Associate degreeI am Alex Edwards, an American student from Tujunga, California on the associate degree program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

The “Formulas for Business Success” course is my favorite course so far taken here at Hubbard College. The tools that are included are invaluable and I learned techniques that, when applied, produce amazing results. I learned from this course that every activity, no matter what it is, is in a certain operating state. And I learned that there is a set sequence of specific operating states that form a progression from the lowest to the highest operating state. Furthermore, there are formulas, which are exact steps to take, to move from a lower to a higher operating state, culminating in attainment and maintenance of the highest operating state power.

I also learned management techniques as well. For instance, instead of managing on guesswork or rumor, you use statistics. A statistic is a number or amount compared to an earlier number or amount of the same thing. Statistics show you what areas in your company are rising, staying steady, or falling in production all at a quick glance. This helps a person make more accurate decisions.  Furthermore, statistics allow a person to correlate his or her actions with sudden changes in production either up or down.

Another datum covered in the course, which when I think about it is common sense, is to reward the people who are producing in a company and penalize the people who are not producing or producing little in a company. It’s very simple but in actuality I’ve seen executives rewarding the people who are not producing and ignoring the people actually contributing to the business. This sends the message that it’s okay not to produce. On the other hand, when one rewards the people producing in a company, it establishes that as the example to follow to the other employees. Thus rewarding the producers says to the group when you work hard at your job and produce you will be rewarded and acknowledged.

This knowledge helped me double my production in many areas of my life. I have never been more efficient! It’s totally real to me that every business should have this data as it would help them tremendously. From first-hand experience, I’ve worked in companies that use this data and they are some of the fastest-growing companies that I know. This course contains the data you need for business success; I recommend you get started on it today!

Associate Degree: I Was Hired after My Apprenticeship

associate degreeBy Miranda Hazen, an American student from Los Angeles, California on the associate degree program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

I have had some great results from doing courses and apprenticeships here at the Hubbard College of Administration. Recently, I did a “Marketing and Public Relations Surveys” apprenticeship at a cosmetics and skincare salon. I went to the business and got information on a certain product that needed to be surveyed in order to promote it successfully. I conducted surveys on the correct public for this product and got great results!

The business owner was very pleased with the work I did for her. She even offered to hire me to do more surveys for her! This really proves that this administrative technology works and that it is extremely valuable.  In addition, she hired me to help her at a Healthy Living Expo last weekend, which was a lot of fun and a great experience!

These offers made me realize that I have such an advantage especially in this stressful time where the economy is doing poorly and a lot of people are having a hard time getting jobs. I wasn’t even looking for a job, and it just fell into my lap because of this data I now know and can use.

I highly recommend that anybody who wants to be successful with their job or business get this administrative technology and apply it.

Associate Degree: How to Effectively Handle Work

HCA- Blog 8For this apprenticeship, I was able to work with a few of the people in my office.  There were a lot of small things that I was able to help handle.  People having trouble with their computers, messy desks and incomplete cycles of action are many common things that are seen in my office.

Through this apprenticeship, I was able to do easy handlings and get people to feel 100 times better about their workspace and their ability to get their work done.  I can tell I really helped with things that were slowing these people down not only at work, but in life.  My office is a totally different place to work since I have started doing my apprenticeships there…in a good way! I loved doing this apprenticeship as part of my associate degree program, and I can really see the value of the data I get here at Hubbard College of Administration.

Management Degree: Basic Organization Theory Course

Management degree How to make things happen? How to produce what you want? How to survive? Org Board (Organizing Board)! This is the answer!

From doing this course as part of my management degree program, I learned and know the secret of “How to turn things out.” Because imagine that you have a business, but you can’t produce anything, how can you survive?  So org board is one thing that helps you know how to set up your business environment and guide you in a series of steps to achieve the result. Therefore, you get the VFP (valuable final product). Thus you can have a business happen, produce what you want and you can survive.

Besides that, I also realized that so many businesses fail just because they don’t have a workable, correct or real organizing board, or even any at all. The confusion and difficulty happens only from no control.  If there is no organizing board that can be seen, people won’t know how to organize and control their environment. So an organizing board is the really vital basis on having control and organization.

An org board is a tool which shows what the VFP (valuable final product) of one’s business is, what the job’s duties and functions are, and how the different kinds of particles flow, etc.  Working with an org board, you know what you are doing and you are moving towards success. Therefore, it is really important to have it.

Unless the org board really exists, the confusion won’t vanish.

To have a successful business or life, you must have the key, an Org Board.

Associate Degree: Seventeen and Just Completed High School

HCA- Blog 20I first started here about one week ago for my associate degree. The minute I walked in the front door, I knew this was the school for me. The way you feel inside this school is amazing, you feel right at home. The faculty is great and they take the time to know you and make sure to help you in any way possible.

I have finished two courses since I have been here and I’m getting great results on my tests! Who doesn’t like good grades? The best part about it is that I REMEMBER what I learn. It’s an amazing feeling of accomplishment when you learn something, remember it and can apply it.

Usually when you come to a new place whether it’s a school or place of business, etc you have an uneasy feeling. It’s like, you don’t know where you quite fit in; I can tell you that when I came here I knew exactly where I fit in. I fit in right here, maybe you do too!

My Associate Degree Courses: Sales

HCA- Blog 13

Associate Degree and Sales

In the beginning of my program I knew that the Sales Course would be the last one in my Associate Degree and honestly I didn’t want to take this course.  It was probably because of the false data I had about Sales. But this course helped me realize what sales really is and that the ability to sell is very important to be successful. When I know that my product is a valuable one and that people will benefit when they buy it, then it is much easier to help people to decide to buy it. It will be an honest, valuable exchange.

If a company or a person can not sell its product in a short while it will be bankrupt even though they produce a superior product and promote it very well. My other biggest realization while doing this course was that every day we sell something: the idea to go watch a movie with friends, to go to a restaurant―just IDEAS! It is really cool!
