"I attended a Productivity Workshop at the Hubbard College and it really opened my eyes to the fact that there actually was a workable technology that anyone could learn. I toured some businesses in Los Angeles that were using Hubbard Administrative Technology and I was impressed. I saw that these companies were growing and expanding and I wanted to know it for myself."

Degree Program: Define Your Publics

My name is Daphna, and I own a Life Coaching company in Los Angeles, CA.  The following is a success story I wrote from degree program student Jonathan Turton recently conducting his Surveys course apprenticeship in my company.

j0283537Since opening my office last year, I hadn’t defined my public.  The first win I had on this project was finally doing so.  Jonathan referred me to the some data from his course on “wrong publics.”  It was through learning this data that I finally worked out this very vital point!  I now see how absolutely indispensable that action was. Then came the surveys.  I was surprised at the buttons that came up.  I was very far from them in my marketing efforts.  I also gained the valuable data on what images and symbols positioned with my products/services.

For the first time, I am actually ready to put together the right promo for my business, and effectively introduce myself to my potential public.

Thank you for your help!

Continuing Education: Formulas For Business Success

My name is Robert Turton.  I am a doctor from Santa Maria, CA.  I am a continuing education student at Hubbard College of Administration International, and I just finished the apprenticeship for the Formulas For Business Success course.
I can see the relief on the staff member by identifying the real cause of what happened in her area to cause a down trending situation.  It was not that she was getting lazy and not doing her job.  It had just gotten to the point where she was not able to accomplish all the extra work she had due to increased number of patients seen and to being under-staffed.
I can see how this staff member will now see the true benefit of logging everything she is doing, so she can be accountable.  On the other hand, and most importantly, one will be able to identify any bad situation before itís allowed to get any worse.

Business Degree: Success through Application

The following are three testimonies from staff at a marketing company where recent graduate, Brittany Seymour, conducted some of her apprenticeships.
When Brittany started working at the company, I knew that she was being trained at the Hubbard College.  I knew this meant that she would be using the tools here to help with her schoolwork.  What I did not realize was how much her apprenticeships would help the company. Brittany has done numerous projects here and they have all proven to be successful.  The last project she has been working on was the best.
Brittany came in, talked to me about what needed to be handled within my company and then took off from there.  I did not need to do anything other than sit back and watch my statistics go up.  Her application of the Administrative Technology has been incredible and the entire company has turned around since she has been working with us.  Thank you for all of your hard work and Hubbard College students are welcome any time!î

Going over what Iím supposed to do with Brittany made me understand what I am actually supposed to be doing.  I see that I play a big role in this company and that what I do makes a difference.  It was nice to finally be told what exactly I should be doing and to see that when I do it, things change.

Brittany was able to help me with my learning in the computer department.  I have heard her talk about Hubbardís study technology tools in the past, but this time I was able to actually put them to use.  I want to teach my son about these tools to help him in school.  Learning about the computer department is very easy now and I know it is because of what Brittany did with me.

I am Elena Alvarez, a student from Mexico.  I just finished the ìHow To Get Along With Othersî apprenticeship on the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.
This apprenticeship really taught me a lot and gave me the experience of how to handle others and get along with them.  It gave me a lot of reality on how to get along with others and how to handle situations in the work environment to ensure healthy relationships.
This apprenticeship was amazing!

Business Degree: Increase Efficiency

My name is Jaime Chang.  I just finished the ìHow To Increase Efficiency In Your Companyî apprenticeship on the Associate of Applied Science degree at Hubbard College of Administration International.
I had such a huge win and a lot of fun while doing this apprenticeship. It was somewhat hard in the beginning. However, the company owner gave us clear direction on what she wanted and needed.  She has a bridal shop, and I worked with another student on developing a program for her. With the other studentís help, the program was done perfectly. We got all the information the owner wanted and this helped her a lot on the current marketing she was doing.
From this apprenticeship, I realized that a good program and a well-set plan will obtain the valuable final products (VFPs) both effectively and efficiently.  Creating effective programs is the first step.  It is vital to have this step in before one can even think about organizing the execution of such programs.
I really had a good time doing this.  Not only did I enjoy the experience of the apprenticeship, I have more experience in the fashion industry, which is something I have been interested in. This further leads me towards my personal goal in life. I thank Miranda Hazen, the student that helped me and Caroline, the business owner, for giving me this opportunity to have such a wonderful experience. I can see how this technology helps me apply what Iíve learned on the program to better my life.

Business Degree: Importance of Policy

My name is Jamie Chang. I just finished the ìHow To Make Planning Become An Actualityî apprenticeship on the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration.
It was an honor to work with the company representative, Caroline Hallak and degree student, Miranda Hazen. Caroline is a designer for bridal gowns and Iíve always been interested about fashion. From this apprenticeship I realize how important it is to issue the ìBasic Purposeî as a first policy in a company, because any company wants their brand well known by public. After doing this apprenticeship, I now know how vital the practice of issuing policy to a company is in helping it materialize the ownerís ideas and ultimately reach its goals.

Management Degree: Proven Results From Proven Technology

I am Eduardo Santos, a student from Mexico, and I just finished the ìHow to Effectively Handle Workî apprenticeship on the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.
I really enjoyed this apprenticeship, because I experienced first hand that the technology I just learned has amazing results if you know how to apply correctly.
In this apprenticeship, I went to a very well known company that sells software licenses to improve the efficiency of computers. My main purpose was to help another person increase his efficiency in his work by applying what I learned on my course.
When I got with the employee, I could see that he was having some problems controlling his job efficiently and he had a lot of confusion because of it. I immediately started applying the data from the course. It was amazing to see that by the next day he was more efficient and had handled the confusions he was having! By providing him the data of the ìstable datum,î which tells you how to handle any confusion, and with the Affinity-Realty-Communication (ARC), and control handling, the employee really improved. In fact, he was able to accomplish the same amount of work in half the time! This was amazing.

Associate Degree: The Art of Communicating

My name is Juan Carlos Ramos Paulino, a student from the Dominican Republic.  I just finished the ìMarketingî apprenticeship on the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.
I really liked the promo piece I was able to create for Applied Scholastics Silver Lake.  The data I learned on the ìMarketingî course was really effective in creating responses to a promotional piece.  The art of communicating can be taken to exceptional levels with a well designed and creative marketing campaign.  Iím very glad I learned about it, and Iím proud of the results I got with it.  The potential survival of a great business activity was increased ten-fold with it!

Associate Degree: New Sales Book

My name is Juan Carlos Ramos P, and I just finished the “Sales” apprenticeship in route to earning my Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.
I had a great time doing this apprenticeship.  The subject of Sales is nothing, but a drill on communication through the application of control and the use of emotion.  The apprenticeship contains drills that actually call for the student to conduct sales in a real setting.  For this, I chose to sell the new book The Complete Guide To Successful Selling, available through the College bookstore.
I was enthusiastic about the book before ever selling it, so I was eager to get started on the apprenticeship.  Also, I didn’t have any objections to selling it, but even if I did, the book covers how to overcome any such objections, which is brilliant!

Associate Degree: Errors Decreased By 50%!!

My name is Jaime Chang, and I just finished the ìHow to Increase Efficiency in Your Companyî apprenticeship on the Associate of Applied Science degree at Hubbard College of Administration International.
Time is money. I have a much greater appreciation for this old saying after finishing this course.  What tends to happen in a lot of current organizations is that people end up doing things twice when they could finish all at once. This ìdouble-workî costs a lot of money and valuable production time.
When I arrived at the apprenticeship site, I saw that the company had a communication system, but they werenít using it.  I activated the Three-Basket communication system.  This is a communication system that helps you to organize your papers and or electronic communications. By using the Three-Basket system, you can categorize things: that you have to do (IN Basket), things that need further handling (PENDING), and things that are done and need to be routed (OUT).  This system saves a lot of time, which results in saving money and production time.
The amazing thing is that once you spot the different areas of inefficiency, your production can quickly expand and youíll prosper. What happened at my site was that after we handled the different areas of inefficiency, the production went up and the amount of errors the staff made decreased by 50%! Thatís double the production.  Can you believe that!  I was so surprised when the owner told me that, and I felt so good that I just helped a company to earn more money within a  short time!
