What does production rely on? The answer is organization. Without organization you have a cluster of people moving through the office in confusion. Confusion=no production. This statement is very true and can be demonstrated in everyday examples. With organization you get individuals working together as a group, with all of their actions contributing to the activity’s purpose or goal. Another good result of organization is high morale.

Many questions enter into how a company should be established internally. Some people would rather give orders to anybody, whether that’s something the person handles or not. This is not how a company should be run. This course, while it’s called “Basic” Organization, gives you all of the information you need to know to accomplish a fully organized group, activity, or company. It even has a practical assignment which has you take an existing group that you are a part of and put the data you learn from the course into use and actually organize it! This was the favorite part of the course for me, because without it I swear I would have never found the time to do this for my band. Now as a direct result, my band is at least two-fold as productive as it was before, and I used to think we were really organized!

Ever get the idea your organization has way too many people for the work that needs to be done? If you work in government you should know instantly the answer to that question. The fact is that some organizations have 500 people, which has work only 75 people could handle. There’s an answer to the over-saturation of your business in this course. As a part of the practical assignment I mentioned above, you will look over everything you company produces internally and externally, then back-track it to what functions bring about that product, and back-track even further to who does those functions and where in the organization they are. Doing this will help you realize many things such as the fact there may be functions not being done by everyone, or that you have three people doing the exact same function!

As with every course I’ve done here at Hubbard College, it’s teachings are applicable to anything. As you can see I used it with my band, but its uses well exceed just that. Your school, your government and your life is all affected by organization. And as I said at the beginning of this blog: Production relies on organization, remember this well when you think about how can be more efficient in all that you do.

I am very happy to say that I’ve finished my Public Relations Apprenticeship with success for both myself and the person I worked with. I had worked with Ali Helnwein, a composer of string and woodwind instruments, who is a person I’ve worked with on two previous apprenticeships. This time I got to help Ali’s band, Demo-Team, hold a fundraiser that included performances from the band, photos, and refreshments to help them finalize production on their second album. We had little time to get the event together and a lot of actions needed to be put into place for the event to work.

How did I pull such an event off? I simply used the information included in both the Public Relations course pack and the Planning course pack. I did fact-finding on the event, set up the time and location of the event, worked out what we were going to communicate to the public we were inviting and what we would communicate to them during the event, etc. and put it all into a program. This program included every single step that needed to occur along with who needed to perform those steps. This way the person executing the steps wouldn’t be wondering what they had to do next or question if he was even doing the thing in sequence.

This data made putting together the event a cinch, both for me and the band. I went to the event when it was held and we got over 30 people to come, and we had only a week to promote and put it together. We also raised over $400 which brought Demo-Team even closer to accomplishing their goal. In fact, after the performance Demo-Team had raised enough money to finalize their album production. This was amazing to hear and increased my faith in this very simple technology. I am absolutely confident in my ability to establish good public relations with the community for any group and put together successful plans so that they themselves become successful too.

I am glad that I completed this apprenticeship. In this apprenticeship, I practed how to sell products which I don’t have any experiences before.

By applying what I learned from the sales course, I put the theory into the real situation. It was amazing that this thechnology really worked. I also realized that a person is not only selling product in the business world, but also he is selling his own ideas, thoughts, actions, opinions, etc to others.

Now I have more knowledge to handle different customers and different objections. Sales became very interesting interesting thing to me.

I really recommend this course to everyone. Its really good for anyone in any field.

Before I took the course I felt a little nervous when I talked to others especially strangers and foreigners. But now I found if I can payclose attention and have strong intention (which are the important parts of communication) with them, it isn’t so hard to understand them. This has made me much more comfortable.

Also, I gained the ability to control the conversation. If I want to stop it, I can stop it; if I want to start it, I can start it; if I want to know the answer, I can know the answer, etc.

I can use what I’ve learned in every area of my life (school, family, friends, business, etc.). It really does work!

My name is Jack. I’m studying to earn my business degree at Hubbard College of Administration International. I just finished the Sales course.

In this modern sociality, sales is one of the big subjects in the business world. Simply look at how many books in this field sit on shelves of area bookstores. I had been working in my parent’s company for some years. In doing so, I realized that I need to improve my sales skills. I read a lot of different sales books and attended a lot of different sales seminars. They did help, but they are either too much “theory “or “incomplete.”

In this sales course, I learned a lot of different sales technology, and was able to drill each of them. This is a great technology to live with! The course is well designed, as it has you read some theory first, and then you drill with it until you can use what you’ve studied.

During the course, I realized that there are some “dos and don’ts” and “musts” in the field of sales. Now, when looking back on my pervious experiences, I see that I violated these points, and that is the reason why I lost sales.

I shared the wins I had on this course with my mother. I specifically went over with her the correct way to deal with one kind of prospect who likes to check around and buy from the lowest price or the “best deal.” My mom was very happy to find out that there is actually a technology for dealing with such prospects.

I feel that I have more confidence and ability to handle the customer to ultimately increase sales. Thanks to everyone who helped me with this course.

Hello my name is Jonathan. I am studying to earn my degree in business management and administration, and I just finished Basic Organization apprenticeship.

In this apprenticeship, I was able to help a dental practice by creating an Organizing Board. An Organizing Board is a form of infrastructure that can be designed and implemented in any company regardless of industry or size.

The dental practice is now more productive. Now all of the staff is able to refer to the Organizing Board to clear any confusions on their duties or even to explain to someone the flow of the dental practice including the flow of routing patients. This Organizating Board will also allow for the staff to know exactly what they are responsible for, how they take a role in the organization and who to refer to when in need of something.

In doing this apprenticeship, I was also able to further understand the cycles that a dental office goes through. I had a great time in helping the practice and in doing this apprenticeship!

Hello. My name is Tiffany, and I just enrolled at HCA. My first course is called the Basic Study Manual.

I can’t remember ever using a dictionary so often. I found out that there is so much more valuable information in using a dictionary properly, as opposed to quickly passing by the definition of a word.

By the process of clearing up the definition of a word, you’ll have a complete understanding of the word, and the concept of what you’re studying will be much more easier to remember and to use it in a correct place.

Sometimes we feel that we try our best in studying, but cannot gain so much result in the end. This course ends that frustration! I can use the study skills learned in this course for my daily life and to do better in studying any subject in the future.

My name is Saleem. I finished the Basic Organization apprenticeship as part of earning my business management degree.

This apprenticeship is great for anyone who wants to bring sanity and organization to his or her company. I was most impressed with the way itbrought the theory of organization to reality, and instead of just having it in your head, you can have it in plain sight for everyone to see!

Done properly, the tools of organization help you create the proper products that you want to produce and what should be produced by every staff member in the company, whether the company is composed of 3 or 50 staff members.

To tell you the truth, these tools are fundamental for any organization to turn success into a daily achievement.

Wesley here. I recently wrote about the great experience I had on the Public Relations apprenticeship, as part of my business degree. I just finished my Sales apprenticeship, and wanted to tell you about it.

In the beginning I was a little bit afraid that no one would want to buy the product I was selling, because it’s expensive compared with other similar products from other companies.

Yet, after I finished the research of the product, I realized I was wrong, because most other products aren’t similar. This company really cares about the balance of your body and what ingredients can cause the best result.

So, now I understand a key point in sales: Sell the product that can really help your customer or help your customer by offering them a useful and valuable product. That’s why my sales were so successful. I made people understand and then they agreed with the product, which made them want to buy it. Whenever the clients hesitated, I used the closing techniques learned in the course to reinforce the intention for them to think of why they wanted this product.

It’s an amazing experience to have done this course and to sell the real product! I really learned a lot.

My name is Alex. I’m on the Business Management degree program at HCA, and I recently finished an apprenticeship on the Surveys course.

This apprenticeship gave me a ton of experience in the field of surveying. Seriously, I feel like I know and can do so much with surveys that I’ll never have a worry when doing them. The power of this apprenticeship really hit me on the second section, which involved making a particular survey that would emanate human emotion. The purpose of this is to get as many done as possible until you’ve received a response value over 50% out of all people asked.

I got to do these surveys with a composer. I did my Financial Planning apprenticeship for this individual, and was aiming to help him learn more about his targeted public. Basically, to find out what they’d want from a composer in regards to recording orchestral instruments for recording musicians.

Once this survey and a second survey were completed, I felt like I was on a whole new tier of this technology. The course gave me the data, and the apprenticeship really had me bringing its application to fruition. I got sufficient answers for both surveys and now the individual has the data he needs in order to share his service within that public in such a way that they’ll be open to listening to the message.

It happens each and every day. Companies think of new and interesting ways to get their public to hear them and buy their products. Some of these companies do this successfully; you can take Apple as an example. I’m sure they take their customer’s thoughts and opinions very seriously and that has contributed to their huge success.

Surveys open the door to the public. You get to hear their thoughts, ideas, concepts, etc. It just makes sense that potential customers will be more willing to respond to an advertisement or even let it catch their eye if it had what they’ve been worrying about, which is accompanied by your product/service that serves as a solution or improvement.
