"After I graduated I became the Director of Marketing and Public Relations for a successful software company due to the Job Placement assistance at the College. I was able to come in and start in an executive position only because of what I had learned. In the six months I've been working here, we have increased sales by 40% over the previous year."

Master Consultant: Problem Solving

Hi, this is Stella Ou. I am from Taiwan and am currently studying to become certified as a Master Consultant at Hubbard College of Administration International.  I’ve just completed the Ups and Downs in Life course.

We all have our ups and downs throughout our lives and careers.  How to handle all these ups and downs is something one has to learn.  In this course, you notj0315598only learn a technology of how to handle difficulties in life, but also how to spot the problems that created such situations in the first place.  Who or what has been suppressing you from succeeding?  Why do you get sick?  Who or what gets you into trouble?  Who is that person that always gets in your way and becomes trouble for others?

Have you ever ask yourself these questions?  One very important terminology learned in this course is called “Potential Trouble Source” (PTS).   You will learn to understand what PTS is and how to handle a PTS if you are around one.  If you manage a business, you definitely want to learn about this to help your colleagues and staff.   These sources are one of the reasons why your company won’t expand and why you need to spend extra hours resolving problems rather than creating solutions.

Master Consultant: Establishing Is The Foundation

Hi my name is Damiano Shehu.  I am from Albania and I Just finished the Executive Establishment Officer course that is part of the Master Consultant Levels certification at Hubbard College of Administration International .

As the title of the course suggests, the Establishment Officers’ primary duties are to establish and maintain the organization. The course goes over the specificj0182826technology used by the Establishment Officer to achieve the above. It also delineates the importance of a sound structure that will enable a business to grow and expand.  It so happens that when organization is lacking that structure, sustainable growth and expansion aren’t possible.

If we were to compare an organization to a skyscraper as an analogy, you would clearly see that a skyscraper with a week structure is susceptible to fall from natural forces like wind and earthquakes.   For a company, high winds may be economic instability. However, if you had a skyscraper that had a strong yet flexible structure, this would enable it to handle even the strongest winds and the most destructive earthquakes.

Now, in a business, this would mean stability and flexibility despite of economic instability. Such a business would be so well established that very few external factors would have any real affect on it. The above is the duty of the Establishment Officer and as you can see, it is vital to the survival of any business, state, country or civilization.

Consultant Training: IMPORTANCE OF INTENTION!

Hello again everyone.  This is Ted Kumada. I am currently studying to become a consultant at Hubbard College of Administration International, and I’ve just completed the course “HOW TO GET THINGS DONE.”

j0202073This course is very practical, and everyone can get great benefits from it.  My WIN was that I had a cognition with regards to the concept, IMPORTANCE OF “INTENTION.”  Throughout my career, I have given numerous commands. However, have I always done it with INTENTION?  It is questionable.  Commands with force DO NOT work.  Commands with INTENTION do!  Forceful manner of giving commands won’t work since we’re dealing with human beings.  From now on, I can give my commands with INTENTION, not with FORCE.

It was a big WIN!

Management training: Formulas for Business Success

My name is Lex Howard and I completed the ìFormulas for Business Successî course at Hubbard College of Administration International (HCA).
I canít express how much confidence it gives me to go back into the workplace and just know that I can make things happen in our company.  When I went to bed each night after course, I would think of all the ways this knowledge is going to be able to be applied to my company, and how I can pass this excitement I feel to the entire staff.  It makes me wish I could stay here full time and go straight through the management program and come back to my company with a fresh new view.
Even though I donít have a full understanding of planning and keeping statistics yet, with just the technology I have learned in Formulas for Business Success, I will make my company flourish.
What impresses me most about Hubbard College is the success of its graduates. I am excited that I can use this technology to be one of them.

Associate Degree: Selling Can Be Fun

By Gloria Liu, a Taiwanese student from Taipei on the associate degree program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

During the “How to Create Want for Your Products through Effective Sales Techniques” apprenticeship, I learned more about why you need to be informed about the product you are selling. I learned that one needs to know the features, the benefits of the product, about the business and owner who you are trying to sell to, as well as knowing about the price and payment options to name a few. It was exciting to do sales, because you only can get “one-shot.” There was no “start over again” or other types of classroom re-tries.  Either you get the customer to buy or you lose him.j0289528
I had wins selling my company’s products to six different individuals. They were all unique sales. Each of them had their own concerns and had their own interests. However, by locating their interest, I was able to sell them what they needed and wanted. Itís fascinating to find a person’s interest and cultivate their willingness to buy a specific product. Fundamentally, sell them what they want, donít try to sell them everything.
I am currently on the “Marketing and Public Relations Surveys” apprenticeship.

Associate Degree: Public Relations, The Big Picture

I am Bassam El Houssami, a Lebanese student from Beirut, Lebanon on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
Public Relations or also known as ìPRî has been misused throughout the years due to insufficient data about its full scope and purpose. Everyone knows what ìPRî stands for, but what does it really mean? PR is ìEffective cause well demonstrated.î In short, PR is publicizing effective causes that you have done to society or people. Doing so will cause an organization or individual to have good PR. These days, PR is sometimes conceived as only how you walk, how you talk, how you dress, etc. This is incidental to the ìEffective cause well demonstrated.î
In history, renowned opinion leaders have used PR to influence and mold public opinion either to idealize them or to degrade others. It is still being used today to fund wars, raise money for charity, destroy organizations or launch a new organization and improve the image of an existing organization or person. It is a PR world.
While doing the ìPublic Relationsî course here at the Hubbard College of Administration, I learned a wider scope of application of PR; specifically, it can be used for an individual, a family or an organization. Reading Effective Public Relations gave me a lot of reality on how PR has developed from its early stages to what PR is known as today. This book presented some of the campaigns executed by major corporations and indicated what was effective and what failed. The book was a compilation of important data about PR and its use.
Hubbard College of Administration is a self-paced business school that offers an exceptional business administration curriculum, unique learning technology, life-changing apprenticeships and internships, assistance with job placement and a lifetime warranty for students.  I am currently on the ìMarketingî course.

Associate Degree: Policy Forwards Basic Purpose

21 Jan 10
Associate Degree: Policy Forwards Basic Purpose
By Josh Lin, a Taiwanese student from Taichung on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
I recently completed the ìHow to Write Effective Company Policyî Course.  I realized that no matter how small an activity, it must have a basic purpose. When one follows oneís basic purpose, one is moving towards oneís goal. If someone works with basic purpose and makes sure he always goes with it, then he must see the result – the whole activity will flourish and go into affluence.
So, how to make the above happen? There must be something that can help. Itís policy! Policy is a rule or procedure or guidance which permits the BASIC PURPOSE to succeed.
Some businesses fail because of neglect of policy. Maybe nobody in the office follows the policy. Or, the staff doesnít even know they have policy.  Or worse, the company doesnít have any policy! Consequently, when a situation arises, no matter how small, the staff has no clue of how to handle it so as to forward the companyís basic purpose.  Therefore, the company collapses.
I believe nobody wants to fail and everyone wants to win. Now I have a tool- Policy. I can apply it and forward my own or my companyís basic purpose. Now I know my ideal scene (the state of affairs envisioned by policy or better) is waiting for me and my life will be successful.

Career Education: Why Some Salesmen Can’t Sell

I am Franco Chavez, a Peruvian student from Lima on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
I always asked myself why there were so many salesmen that couldnít sell or why there were so many salesmen that have this superficial interest in you because deep inside they are thinking of something else? At least a couple of times, Iíve encountered some salesman in such a bad mood that I felt sad about it. While doing this apprenticeship, I realized that it really is hard, if not impossible, to sell a product that you have no interest in. If all these salesmen had at least some minimal interest in what they were selling, their jobs would be so much easier.
From the very first moment my apprenticeship supervisor told me about Vibrant Life as a site for my sales apprenticeship, I was very interested. I like all subjects about nutrition and exercising. So I had good affinity with the product. The vitamins and creams were a great product for me to sell because I knew that by selling them I was in some way helping the buyers to improve their health.
So I personally think that these two ingredients are basic to getting a sale: 1) interest or affinity in the product you are selling and 2) interest in the person that you are selling the product to. This is applicable to anything that you want to sell.

Associate Degree: Valid Survey Questions Elicit An Emotional Response

I am Damiano Shehu, an Albanian student from Tirana on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.  I recently finished the ìMarketing and Public Relations Surveysî Apprenticeship.
I had a great time during this apprenticeship. I learned that surveys are not only fun but very useful for a business too. By applying the data I learned on the ìMarketing and Public Relations Surveysî Course, I was able to get a great result. I got the buttons, which are the answers that were given the most number of times to each survey question. In addition, I was able to determine the positioning, which is the placement of the product in somebodyís life or mind and in relation to other products, based on the buttons.
When you survey people you get various types of responses. What conventional survey takers usually look for is a ìyesî or ìnoî type of question. These types of questions do not bring about an emotional response. It is extremely crucial to be able to get an emotional response.  Once you have an emotional response from your survey question, you can use that answer in your promotion.
I think that this apprenticeship was great, and I would suggest it for anyone that works in promotion and marketing.

By Gloria Liu, a Taiwanese student from Taipei on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
I liked the ëHow to Evaluate and Predict Human Behaviorí Course very much. Now, I know how to spot other peopleís emotional tone. This is actually very important. I donít want someone who has low emotional tone to work with me. Why? I want to be with happy people. When working with people who have low emotional tone, they bring me down, or maybe I need to work extra hard just to keep my emotional tone high enough.
Looking back to my past, to what I did and to what other people did, I now know why I did what I did and why they did whatever they did. I know the Hubbard Chart of Human Evaluation, and it predicts specific correlations between emotional tone and action or behavior. Itís really amazing!!
By knowing this data, not only can I evaluate and predict the behavior of others, but I can also know based on my emotional tone what my behavior is, even when I donít want to admit it. Finally, itís not hard to communicate with people, as long as you know their emotional tone.
