"I attended a Productivity Workshop at the Hubbard College and it really opened my eyes to the fact that there actually was a workable technology that anyone could learn. I toured some businesses in Los Angeles that were using Hubbard Administrative Technology and I was impressed. I saw that these companies were growing and expanding and I wanted to know it for myself."

Associate Degree: INCOME GREATER THAN DISBURSEMENT

Associate Degree: Financial Planning Course & Apprenticeship
My name is Jack Cheng. Iím a Taiwanese student from Kaohsiung on the Associate of Applied Science degree program at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.  I just finished the ìFinancial Planningî course.
ìINCOME GREATER THAN DISBURSEMENTî is the major thing in the business world. Indeed, one purpose for any company is ìmaking money.î Obviously a company canít survive without it. However, just focusing on making money isnít enough. When youíre making money, you will have disbursements (bills, purchase orders, rents, taxes, etc.) that need to be managed carefully.  Poor management of such disbursements result in negative consequences.
In this course I learned the policy about how to handle the financial particles in a company. Then, in the apprenticeship, I put all I learned into a company. That is a good way for me to learn finance. Before I learned it, I thought finance was a complex subject, and I wished I didnít have to touch it. Yet, after this course and apprenticeship, I felt good about it. I realized that the subject of finance isnít the game of figures, but the flows in a company. If one can manage the flows well, he can manage the finances well.
Now, I have more confidence on how to handle the financial situations that arise in a company, and I have more tools to manage financial particle flow. The subject of finance is no longer a problem for me. I am glad to have this knowledge in my life.

Associate Degree: Invest in your staff

My name is Giancarlo Dutko.  I completed the “Personal Integrity” apprenticeship on the Associate of Applied Science degree in business management at Hubbard College of Administration International.
j0236531I was very happy to see the good changes in people, as they realized new things about their lives while reading the different parts of the Personal Integrity course. The application of this data is very effective, and if you apply every little bit, a person can live life to it’s fullest.  Helping your staff do so is the responsibility of any good manager.

Associate Degree: Grow yourself while growing the company!

By Alex Edwards, who just finished the “How To Increase Efficiency In Your Company” course on the Associate of Applied Science degree in business management and administration at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA) in Los Angeles, CA.
In our current society, our abilities and skills are worth more than ever. Companies desperately look for people to hire who will actually DO what is needed and not just maintain the status quo, which holds up the expansion of the organization. One very important aspect of a person is his efficiency. Itís very simple really; if one worker can complete something in half the amount of time of another, then whom are you going to hire? The efficient one of course.
Now, what if a person isn’t able to comply with orders as quickly as another? Is he doomed to eternal failure? Well, the How To Increase Efficiency In Your Company course enlightens you about a disease called ìDeveloped-Trafficî (Unnecessary and unusual work), which obliterates two-thirds of a companyís efficiency. It gives a very detailed look into all of the different manifestations that Developed-Traffic can take and how to handle them. Upon recognizing the forms of Developed-Traffic, a person can see how to handle and put an end to it. An example of Developed-Traffic is failure to get an order clarified. When a person doesnít understand what needs to be done, he can’t be expected to get it done fast. If the person clarified the order, then it would have gotten done then and there. Knowing of the 51 types of Developed-Traffic, including this one, a fellow’s efficiency will dramatically increase and he’ll soon find himself with plenty of extra time to get even more done.
As a result of doing this course, I have been able to get all of my work done in the office at twice the speed. My statistics in the office have been significantly increasing each week and I find myself with my daily targets and tasks completed well before the day is over. Then I just go find even more work to do in another area of the company that I can handle. By just following and understanding everything gone over in the pages of this course, my worth to the company has gotten nothing but more valuable.
I recommend you do this course, so that your company can grow larger and recognize you for it.

Associate Degree: Selling Can Be Fun

By Gloria Liu, a Taiwanese student from Taipei on the associate degree program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.

During the “How to Create Want for Your Products through Effective Sales Techniques” apprenticeship, I learned more about why you need to be informed about the product you are selling. I learned that one needs to know the features, the benefits of the product, about the business and owner who you are trying to sell to, as well as knowing about the price and payment options to name a few. It was exciting to do sales, because you only can get “one-shot.” There was no “start over again” or other types of classroom re-tries.  Either you get the customer to buy or you lose him.j0289528
I had wins selling my company’s products to six different individuals. They were all unique sales. Each of them had their own concerns and had their own interests. However, by locating their interest, I was able to sell them what they needed and wanted. Itís fascinating to find a person’s interest and cultivate their willingness to buy a specific product. Fundamentally, sell them what they want, donít try to sell them everything.
I am currently on the “Marketing and Public Relations Surveys” apprenticeship.

Associate Degree: Planning Can Become Actuality

Associate Degree: Planning Can Become Actuality
By Gloria Liu, a Taiwanese student from Taipei on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
From this ìHow to Make Planning Become an Actualityî apprenticeship, I know better how to differentiate the different types of actions (called target types) that have to be considered in achieving a goal. This allows me to plan more carefully so there is no unnecessary action and overlooked actions. All the target types are important and when skillfully assembled and combined, lead the user towards the major target, which is the program goal.
During this apprenticeship, I found out that this is a field I like. I like to plan and turn it into a doable program. In fact, this is what Iím doing all the time in my head. I just need to put my plans in writing and get them executed. When I have something in my head, I can definitely write it down as a program and that makes it easier to carry out than solely thinking of it in oneís head. I can use this for my future business undertaking, which I believe will be a great hpelp. Also, I can apply this same skill for my non-business, personal aspirations. This is how I can make my dreams come true!

Associate Degree: My Internship Saved a Company

Associate Degree: My Internship Saved a Company
My name is Damiano Shehu.  Iím an Albanian student from Tirana on the associate degree program at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
The ìFinal Internship for the Associate of Applied Science: Management and Administrationî was just great. I got to see how fast this technology could change things. It was nothing short of miracle; a miracle that anyone who applies this tech can achieve.
I worked with a company that designed and produced movie and television props. They had been hit hard by the recent economic crisis. My initial observation was that the company had great potential. However there had been no production for the last 12 weeks: no work, no leads and ultimately no income. Also, I noticed that there was very little outflow of communication and promotional activities.
Based on my initial assessment of their scene, I concluded that the biggest problem that needed handling was promotion.
Therefore, the first action that I decided to do was significantly increase the outflow of communication and promotion. I came to this conclusion, because I saw the company was non-existent and needed to produce something. So, to handle this, I sat with the two top executives and emphasized the importance of outflow and promotion. I doubled the post cards outflow and the reaches for business increased by 250%!
About two days after the first wave of promotion went out, the company received its first job in four months. The company grossed $3,391.27 for that week. I then ensured that they were keeping the promotional actions going. As a result of this, the company closed another job for $7,800.00 the following week. Today, the company closed two more jobs totaling $7,000.00. Thus, the company grossed $18,191.27 in a period of 4 weeks. This was a thousand percent increase over the past twelve weeks, which had zero ($0) income.
When I look back at my progress, I feel proud of what I have achieved. Most importantly, Iím the product of all of the staff members here at the college. They should feel proud of what theyíve done. The results that I have obtained as well as other students are a direct result of their dedication and hard work. And on that note, I thank you for changing my life and making me more able to be successful in my chosen profession.

A REAL strategy needed to be developed in order to confront the non-existent amount of reaches the company currently had, and also to get the company communicating their message effectively to their target markets. I presented an outlined strategy to the two top executives and emphasized the importance of its immediate implementation. It was very validating to see that the executives were impressed with my proposed solution and that they agreed to have me execute it. The strategy immediately yielded results with reaches for the company increasing 250%, and a 5X increase in income over just a four-week period!

Associate Degree: The Definition of Policy

By Bassam Houssami.  A student that finished the ìHow To Write Effective Company Policyî course on the Associate in Applied Science Degree in Business Management and Administration.
Policy has been ignored for centuries with people either not enforcing it or not implementing it in the first place.  When policy is not followed, enforced, or/and implemented, organizations stay small and diminish.  So, what is the definition of policy?  Policy is the law on which orders are authorized and originated that in turn forward the basic purpose and survivability of the whole organization.
If countries followed the original policy they created, the world likely wouldnít have ended up in wars and several crashing economies.  When I finished this course, I realized how policy could bring forth agreement within a certain activity.  A higher sense of reality gets established when two or more individuals agree upon a policy to follow.  The same applies to countries.  Imagine that two or more countries develop a firm and constructive policy that they are in agreement with.  This would inevitably make it more difficult for said countries to be in conflict with one another.  Wars then become antiquated and policy becomes the order of the day.

Associate Degree: Improving Relationships

Hi, I am Eduardo Santos, a Mexican student from Monclova, Coahuila on the Associate Degree Program at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA) in Los Angeles, CA.
I just finished the How To Get Along With Others course, and I can tell that your life will not be the same after learning this simple, but incredible data!
While doing this course, I realized that the most basic things, like allowing a person to be what he is, are key for having good relationships with all the people that you surround yourself with. And who doesn’t want that?
One thing that I especially liked is “Greatness.” This means that if you learn how to love everyone even though they give you reasons for not loving them, your greatness will increase and you will gain the respect and love of others.
The ARC triangle is another impressive thing. Once you know how the triangle works, you can say goodbye to your bad relationships. This triangle, which stands for Affinity, Reality and Communication, works like magic, because if you put it into practice, you will see the immediate results of it. If you increase one of the points of the triangle, the other two will increase also. Communication is the most important thing that we have.  Without communication, it would almost impossible to have reality and by consequence affinity.
The Tone Scale taught me how to detect what tone level a person is in. This is very helpful, because I think that every one of us has some people in their lives that might hate us or might be antagonistic towards us. Well, if you know the tone scale, you will know exactly how to handle the situation with that person so you can have a better relationship.  Thus, resulting in a happier and more stress-free life.

Associate Degree: Re-Establishing Friendship Using Tools of Management!

Associate Degree: Re-Establishing Friendship Using Tools of Management!
Hi, my name is Alana Aguilar and I am from Los Angeles, California on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA. I
I recently finished the course ìHow to Get Along with Others.î  I learned about the Tone Scale (a scale used to identify a personís mood, attitude or emotion) and ARC Triangle. The ARC Triangle stands for (A) affinity, (R) reality and (C) communication. They form a triangle and are intimately connected with each other, meaning if you raise or lessen one corner the other corners will raise or lessen as well. These two things really got my attention when I was doing the course. I liked the idea of being able to spot people and predict their actions. This can really help you when youíre choosing your friends or boyfriend/ girlfriend. It could also help at work with your boss. I also really liked the ARC Triangle. After reading the data you know how to improve relations with others. I know what happens when I lessen or raise one of the corners of the triangle.
I really enjoyed this course and can really apply all the data I learned to my everyday life. I actually already did while on this course. There was this friend I had in high school. We were actually best friends. We would hang out and talk to each other all the time. We got along really well; I think it was because we had a lot of things in common. Anyways we had a falling out. We would hang out occasionally but not like before. I really missed that bond that we had. I decided to call him and get in communication with him and find out how he was doing. I was surprised to find out that he also missed hanging out like old times. Just from one phone call we had established more ARC with each other. We talked and planned a day that we could hang out with each other. So as you can see this data does really work.

I liked the ëHow to Evaluate and Predict Human Behaviorí Course very much. Now, I know how to spot other peopleís emotional tone. This is actually very important. I donít want someone who has low emotional tone to work with me. Why? I want to be with happy people. When working with people who have low emotional tone, they bring me down, or maybe I need to work extra hard just to keep my emotional tone high enough.
Looking back to my past, to what I did and to what other people did, I now know why I did what I did and why they did whatever they did. I know the Hubbard Chart of Human Evaluation, and it predicts specific correlations between emotional tone and action or behavior. Itís really amazing!!
By knowing this data, not only can I evaluate and predict the behavior of others, but I can also know based on my emotional tone what my behavior is, even when I donít want to admit it. Finally, itís not hard to communicate with people, as long as you know their emotional tone.
