Business Degree: Ethics starts at a personal level

Hello, my name is Michael Maatouk.  Iím a Lebanese student from Beirut on the Associate of Applied Science degree at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
I recently completed a course called, ìEthics for Business Survival.î Ethics in essence starts at a personal level and is vital for a person and his organization. Whether it is a businessí profits, the degree of a relationship with someone or even handling things in the house; they all need ethics! This course can cause miracles to happen in the improvement of lives, businesses, relationships with others and especially the management of running a business (whether new or old). It teaches you how to handle personnel with proper ethics in order to improve the statistics (a number or amount compared to an earlier or number of amount), which is a measure of production of your organization. You will witness data, which reveals the real reason (which many people have no clue about) on why statistics crash and businesses fail. Hence, enabling you to revert this dwindling spiral and in turn only cause the best for your business. I recommend this course to whoever wants to increase the profits of his business or generally improve his working life. In the end, successful people and organizations apply this data.

Associate Degree: Real Life Application

My name is Giancarlo Dutko, and I just finished the “How To Effectively Handle Work” course on the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.

ControlThere is an entire section of this course devoted to “Control.” After reading the section, I applied it with my two year-old son. What I did was very simple. I went with him to his room and told him to pick up one of his toys. After he picked it up, I acknowledged him and then told him to put it in a basket.  Once he completed this, I acknowledged him. We did that over and over untill all of his toys where put away. Now the next day, before he went to bed, he picked up his toys and put them in their place. The amazing part is that nobody asked him to do so. Now that proves to me that control is not bad at all, as long as it is done with a certainty of outcome and good intentions.  Although this may appear to be a simplistic example, it clearly demonstrates what managers experience every day in the work place with regards to “Control.”

Associate Degree: New Sales Book

My name is Juan Carlos Ramos P, and I just finished the “Sales” apprenticeship in route to earning my Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.
I had a great time doing this apprenticeship.  The subject of Sales is nothing, but a drill on communication through the application of control and the use of emotion.  The apprenticeship contains drills that actually call for the student to conduct sales in a real setting.  For this, I chose to sell the new book The Complete Guide To Successful Selling, available through the College bookstore.
I was enthusiastic about the book before ever selling it, so I was eager to get started on the apprenticeship.  Also, I didn’t have any objections to selling it, but even if I did, the book covers how to overcome any such objections, which is brilliant!

Associate Degree: Invest in your staff

My name is Giancarlo Dutko.  I completed the “Personal Integrity” apprenticeship on the Associate of Applied Science degree in business management at Hubbard College of Administration International.
j0236531I was very happy to see the good changes in people, as they realized new things about their lives while reading the different parts of the Personal Integrity course. The application of this data is very effective, and if you apply every little bit, a person can live life to it’s fullest.  Helping your staff do so is the responsibility of any good manager.

Associate Degree: Simple tool, profound IMPACT!

My name is Josh Lin, and I finished the ìHow To Evaluate and Predict Human Behaviorî apprenticeship on my Associate in Applied Science degree in business management at Hubbard College of Administration International.
In actual application of what Iíve learned from How To Evaluate and Predict Human Behavior course, I realize that how to hire the right employees to get the work done with higher morale. The interesting thing is that there are actually three factors that affect your environment. These factors are Affinity, Reality and Communication. This is referred to as the ARC Triangle. When I was working, I suddenly realized that I was feeling a little bored, because of doing the same action again and again and again. My affinity regarding my work was becoming less, and I became quieter. However, when another person talked to me, I suddenly felt happier.  I felt I was rekindled and became more alive. Then I had more interest to do the work I was doing. In other words, my affinity towards my work increased. At that moment I concentrated on my work again, because I knew what I was really doing.
My reality level at work became better as well. In order to have a good and efficient working environment, the ARC Triangle must exist. When one corner of the ARC Triangle increases, the other two increase as well. Application of ARC Triangle is what I mostly took from this apprenticeship. I know I will do better professionally based on my application of this principal!

Associate Degree: People Skills

June 8, 2010
Associate Degree: People Skills
By Josh Lin, a Taiwanese student from Taichung on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
I’ve been wondering why people do this or do that for a long while; I really wanted to know why. I wanted to know how to get along well with people. Or when I see some human reaction, I wanted to know how to handle it. Unfortunately, I never got this question sorted out. By doing this course ìHow to Evaluate and Predict Human Behavior,î I got a framework of understanding that allowed me to resolve this issue for myself. Now I am more confident about dealing with people.
Handling people is built on three essential factors: Affinity (closeness), Reality and Communication. They form what is called the ARC Triangle.  The three factors are directly correlated.  Meaning as one moves up, the others move up, as one moves down the others move down. It is very important to know this when one is dealing with people or inanimate objects. For example, if I want to know something better, then I need to reach it, which requires increasing my affinity toward that. When I communicate with it, I get more reality about it.
Another important tool I learned about human behavior centers around emotional tone. I learned that each emotional tone has a predictable set of physiological and behavioral correlates. For instance, how one listens or speaks will differ for a person who is angry versus a person who is cheerful.  There is even more to this, no matter what emotional tone someone is in, in order to deal with him or her effectively, one needs to use the ARC Triangle.
In conclusion, by doing this course I acquired at least two vital tools for answering my initial questions about human behavior. Beyond that, the same tools turned out to be fundamental in handling the material world as well. I am now more confident about my ability to deal with my life.
Hubbard College of Administration is a self-paced business school that offers an exceptional business administration curriculum, unique learning technology, life-changing apprenticeships and internships, assistance with job placement and a lifetime warranty for students. I am currently on the “How to Increase Efficiency in Your Business” apprenticeship.

Associate Degree: Choices in life…

By: Alex Edwards, current AAS degree program student that finished the Ethics For Business Survival apprenticeship.
In life, one has to make many choices. Sometimes these choices are successful and sometimes they are not. It is observed in many cases that when one starts making the wrong choices, he starts trying to cover it up with lies or withheld communication. As sad as it is, this has become a ìNormalî operation for those avoiding to put their own ethics in. This starts a person on the road to dishonesty and is a road that some canít come back from without a little help. The Ethics For Business Survival apprenticeship allowed me to help a person in such a situation.
This apprenticeship utilizes the tools gained from the Ethics For Business Survival course, and has the student drill them to perfection, so that he may ultimately be able to handle any out-ethics situation that a person was involved in. Such was the result with me. I had done all of the drills, which prepared me to be able to bring someone from the lowest operating condition, Confusion, to the highest, Power.
After drilling, I then started the final task of the apprenticeship with a person who was in a bad situation with his school. Some promises werenít being kept and his attendance was suffering. We determined his condition to be a Danger condition and I had brought him up into the condition of Normal. At this point in time, the person had handled his situation all on his own thanks to applying the condition formulas correctly, and was on great terms with the school again.
I was very happy with the results of doing this apprenticeship and noticed that the person was much more in control of his life. Itís amazing to think that just by following the simple steps of the condition formulas that anyone can actually come out of the bad situation better than ever! By doing the course and apprenticeship, people can be fully trained in this area and could be so much more powerful over their immediate environment. As one can see, this pertains to every part of life, because in order to survive, be happy and succeed, one must be ethical. I think you can agree that when you look at all of your achievements, past and present, that the ones you are most happy about and which actually improved yours and othersí survival are the ones you came by honestly. So, I implore you to do this course and apprenticeship, not only to help yourself, but for the betterment of all of us on planet Earth. In my opinion, it is Ethics For Survival, period.

Associate Degree: Data for life!

I am Eduardo Santos, a student from Coahuila, Mexico and I just finished the Ups and Downs in Life apprenticeship on the AAS degree program at Hubbard College of Administration International.
I think this course was excellent, because I realized a lot of things I didnít know. I am now able to detect both antisocial and social personalities. I consider this to be a very important thing, because youíll know what to expect from people according to their actions and thoughts.
I think this data will help me a lot in my life, because now that I know what a potential trouble source (PTS) and suppressive person is, I can identify it promptly and do something about the situation. I also had some realizations about accidents and illnesses in the workplace, and how theyíre relative to coincidence or bad luck in regards to the cause of such things.
When you know this data, everything will seem easier, because you know how to handle it. I recommend this course to everyone.

Associate Degree: Improving Relationships

Hi, I am Eduardo Santos, a Mexican student from Monclova, Coahuila on the Associate Degree Program at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA) in Los Angeles, CA.
I just finished the How To Get Along With Others course, and I can tell that your life will not be the same after learning this simple, but incredible data!
While doing this course, I realized that the most basic things, like allowing a person to be what he is, are key for having good relationships with all the people that you surround yourself with. And who doesn’t want that?
One thing that I especially liked is “Greatness.” This means that if you learn how to love everyone even though they give you reasons for not loving them, your greatness will increase and you will gain the respect and love of others.
The ARC triangle is another impressive thing. Once you know how the triangle works, you can say goodbye to your bad relationships. This triangle, which stands for Affinity, Reality and Communication, works like magic, because if you put it into practice, you will see the immediate results of it. If you increase one of the points of the triangle, the other two will increase also. Communication is the most important thing that we have.  Without communication, it would almost impossible to have reality and by consequence affinity.
The Tone Scale taught me how to detect what tone level a person is in. This is very helpful, because I think that every one of us has some people in their lives that might hate us or might be antagonistic towards us. Well, if you know the tone scale, you will know exactly how to handle the situation with that person so you can have a better relationship.  Thus, resulting in a happier and more stress-free life.

By Gloria Liu, a Taiwanese student from Taipei on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
I liked the ëHow to Evaluate and Predict Human Behaviorí Course very much. Now, I know how to spot other peopleís emotional tone. This is actually very important. I donít want someone who has low emotional tone to work with me. Why? I want to be with happy people. When working with people who have low emotional tone, they bring me down, or maybe I need to work extra hard just to keep my emotional tone high enough.
Looking back to my past, to what I did and to what other people did, I now know why I did what I did and why they did whatever they did. I know the Hubbard Chart of Human Evaluation, and it predicts specific correlations between emotional tone and action or behavior. Itís really amazing!!
By knowing this data, not only can I evaluate and predict the behavior of others, but I can also know based on my emotional tone what my behavior is, even when I donít want to admit it. Finally, itís not hard to communicate with people, as long as you know their emotional tone.
