"I attended a Productivity Workshop at the Hubbard College and it really opened my eyes to the fact that there actually was a workable technology that anyone could learn. I toured some businesses in Los Angeles that were using Hubbard Administrative Technology and I was impressed. I saw that these companies were growing and expanding and I wanted to know it for myself."

Associate Degree, Effective Communications

My name is Tiffany, and I just finished the Improving Business Through Communication course at Hubbard College of Administration International.

Before I took the course I felt a little nervous when I talked to others especially strangers and foreigners. But now I found if I can payj0289528close attention and have strong intention (which are the important parts of communication) with them, it isn’t so hard to understand them.  This has made me much more comfortable.

Also, I gained the ability to control the conversation.  If I want to stop it, I can stop it; if I want to start it, I can start it; if I want to know the answer, I can know the answer, etc.

I can use what I’ve learned in every area of my life (school, family, friends, business, etc.).  It really does work!

Business Management, Importance of Sales

My name is Jack.  I’m studying to earn my business degree at Hubbard College of Administration International.  I just finished the Sales course.

j0440391In this modern sociality, sales is one of the big subjects in the business world.  Simply look at how many books in this field sit on shelves of area bookstores. I had been working in my parent’s company for some years.  In doing so, I realized that I need to improve my sales skills.  I read a lot of different sales books and attended a lot of different sales seminars. They did help, but they are either too much “theory “or “incomplete.”

In this sales course, I learned a lot of different sales technology, and was able to drill each of them.  This is a great technology to live with!  The course is well designed, as it has you read some theory first, and then you drill with it until you can use what you’ve studied.

During the course, I realized that there are some “dos and don’ts” and “musts” in the field of sales.  Now, when looking back on my pervious experiences, I see that I violated these points, and that is the reason why I lost sales.

I shared the wins I had on this course with my mother.  I specifically went over with her the correct way to deal with one kind of prospect who likes to check around and buy from the lowest price or the “best deal.”  My mom was very happy to find out that there is actually a technology for dealing with such prospects.

I feel that I have more confidence and ability to handle the customer to ultimately increase sales.  Thanks to everyone who helped me with this course.

Business Degree: Actually Create An Organization

Hello my name is Jonathan. I am studying to earn my degree in business management and administration, and I just finished Basic Organization apprenticeship.

In this apprenticeship, I was able to help a dental practice by creating an Organizing Board. An Organizing Board is a form of infrastructure that can be designed and implemented in any company regardless of industry or size.

The dental practice is now more productive. Now all of the staff is able to refer to the Organizing Board to clearPieces of the puzzle any confusions on their duties or even to explain to someone the flow of the dental practice including the flow of routing patients. This Organizating Board will also allow for the staff to know exactly what they are responsible for, how they take a role in the organization and who to refer to when in need of something.

In doing this apprenticeship, I was also able to further understand the cycles that a dental office goes through. I had a great time in helping the practice and in doing this apprenticeship!

Associate Degree: Practical Experience

My name is Josh.  I’m a degree student at HCA, and I just completed the Survey apprenticeship.

j0283063Surveying can be seen so often.  Most companies are after the same thing; what are our customers thinking and saying?I think we’ve al done a survey for someone before wether at the mall, at home on the phone, etc.  I remember taking one once.   The surveyor told me that he was collecting the opinions from people who had been to their shops. He wanted to know why did people choose their product rather than others’.

The survey questions didn’t really get valid opinions, because the questions weren’t created properly.  This course teaches the key pints of surveying.  It elaborates how to create valid survey questions, who should you ask them and how to use survey results for different activities such as PR campaign.  This course gave me the confidence to get valuable data from the public and use it to help a business.

Effective Managers: Effective Students

Hello.  My name is Tiffany, and I just enrolled at HCA. My first course is called the Basic Study Manual.

j0236531I can’t remember ever using a dictionary so often.  I found out that there is so much more valuable information in using a dictionary properly, as opposed to quickly passing by the definition of a word.

By the process of clearing up the definition of a word, you’ll have a complete understanding of the word, and the concept of what you’re studying will be much more easier to remember and to use it in a correct place.

Sometimes we feel that we try our best in studying, but cannot gain so much result in the end. This course ends that frustration!  I can use the study skills learned in this course for my daily life and to do better in studying any subject in the future.

Business Degree: Surveys, Key To Success

My name is Alex.  I’m on the Business Management degree program at HCA, and I recently finished an apprenticeship on the Surveys course.

Pieces of the puzzleThis apprenticeship gave me a ton of experience in the field of surveying.  Seriously, I feel like I know and can do so much with surveys that I’ll never have a worry when doing them. The power of this apprenticeship really hit me on the second section, which involved making a particular survey that would emanate human emotion.  The purpose of this is to get as many done as possible until you’ve received a response value over 50% out of all people asked.

I got to do these surveys with a composer. I did my Financial Planning apprenticeship for this individual, and was aiming to help him learn more about his targeted public.  Basically, to find out what they’d want from a composer in regards to recording orchestral instruments for recording musicians.

Once this survey and a second survey were completed, I felt like I was on a whole new tier of this technology. The course gave me the data, and the apprenticeship really had me bringing its application to fruition. I got sufficient answers for both surveys and now the individual has the data he needs in order to share his service within that public in such a way that they’ll be open to listening to the message.

It happens each and every day. Companies think of new and interesting ways to get their public to hear them and buy their products. Some of these companies do this successfully; you can take Apple as an example. I’m sure they take their customer’s thoughts and opinions very seriously and that has contributed to their huge success.

Surveys open the door to the public.  You get to hear their thoughts, ideas, concepts, etc. It just makes sense that potential customers will be more willing to respond to an advertisement or even let it catch their eye if it had what they’ve been worrying about, which is accompanied by your product/service that serves as a solution or improvement.

Master Consultant: Qualifications

My name is Hiro.  I just completed my Qualification Sectary mini hat for my Consulting Level II!

Yes!!! This course is basically about the function of the head of any qualification division in a company.  It trains you to ensure, as the head of thej0284915area, to establish and maintain that the staff members of the organization are producing whatever they supposed to produce and at the level of quality needed.  Before, I had some simple questions about the organization. What can I do with those people who don’t produce as much as they’re supposed to? Or, how to make every single employee in the organization wanting their products, so they’ll start producing more with a passion for what they do.

I didn’t know the answers for these questions. I knew that if the morale of the employees in the organization is high then they’ll produce very well, but I didn’t know how to make their morale high, or keep it high. This course was amazing in that it explained to me everything that I needed to know about area of qualifications.  I now know the anatomy and method of how to handle the above situations. Also, I know how to run a qualifications division and what its true purpose and functions are.

I became much more powerful and more cause as a future executive, because of this course.

Master Consultant: Predictability Of Clients/Staff

Hi, my name is Stella. I’m from Taiwan and am studying to become a certified Master Consultant at Hubbard College.  I recently completed the course “How to evaluate and Predict Human Behavior.”

j0289528This course is the BIBLE for anyone that’s working; be it a junior, senior, executive or founder.   Everyone has to learn about how to evaluate and predict human behavior in order to learn how to better your work environment.    Do you know why people behave a certain way?  Do you know why some people can get things done faster than others?   This course gives you the answers to the causes and formation of all behaviors.

The vital part of this course teaches you how to use the tone scale.  For anyone who wants to start up a company, find a shareholder, or even a relationship, knowing how to “read” people’s behavior is the secrete toward your success in communicating with them.  In order to succeed, you’ll want people who can push you all the way to the top in order to reach your goals.   Your success will depend on how well you can communicate based on one’s behavior and actions.   This course will definitely help you to succeed in predicting people based on behavior characteristics.

Business Degree: Managing By Statistics

Hi, my name is Lex. I just finished a course called Management By Statistics at Hubbard College of Administration International.Moving up

It is incredible how this knowledge builds, one course on the other here at Hubbard College. Like the knowledge from the previous course, my confidence in business has done the same. This course, along with the last course I took, has given me the ability to manage my employees without false judgment. One of the most dreaded parts of management (mistakes in promotion and demotion of employees) has been solved for me. This misunderstanding I had is truly solved, as long as, I apply the tools I learned. I very much look forward to the next building block of knowledge and confidence I am sure to receive at HCA!

Associate Degree: Vital For Any Business

My name is Wesley Kuo, a Taiwanese student from Taipei on the associate degree program at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA. I just completed the Marketing course.

Marketing is a very interesting course. I really learned a lot on this course.  It is very thorough, and required a lot of effort.  The effort was totally worth it!  Part of thej0234773 course required me to design the promo piece and actually distribute it, something I’ve never done before.  The requirements of this course are all very important.  I learned a lot and also had a lot of fun doing them. The data I learned is so applicable that I can really see how I’m going to apply all the information upon graduation!

This course is something every business needs!
