"When I started out, I was an eccentric artist with no connections, no business savvy, and like most artists in my industry, I didn't have much affinity for the business side of fashion-just a burning desire to create an effect with my work. Then I was introduced to Hubbard Management Technology and using Hubbard PR and Marketing principles my company grew 500 percent in six years. It is now being a multimillion-dollar company."

Master Consultant: Fundamental Guidelines

Hi, my name is Stella Ou. I am from Taiwan and currently studying to become a Master Consultant at Hubbard College of Administration International.  I’ve just completed the course How To Expand Your Company By Making Planning Become An Actuality.

Managing a company is not a simple task, but using the right tools will indeed make your life easier.  This course teaches you the fundamental guidelines of how to write up programs and projects to help expand your business or just simply to execute a project.Pieces of the puzzle

Often times we are stuck with the idea that we have to create a new system or set of rules for the staff and discard the old ones to make things work.  Sometimes, the new system does work, but often it doesn’t.  In fact, it may just confuse them resulting in even lower production.  Good planning then comes into play: what needs to be kept, eradicated or combined with the old.  It is vital to have a well written plan and most important of all, keep it simple.   The simpler the better!  This is what an executive should do.  Kick off all those big words, hard to understand ideas or mumble jumbles that others may not understand.  What they’ll understand is a simple and straightforward plan that they can get their hands on and make it happen for you.

Master Consultant: Secrets of an Executive

Hi, this is Stella Ou. I am from Taiwan and currently studying to become a Master Consultant at Hubbard College of Administration International.  I’ve just completed the course Executive Tools.

An executive is someone who is capable and able to control and manage his job well.  This is the course that certainly teaches you all secrets en route to anj0443099efficient and effective executive.   You’ll never fail to be an executive if you follow exactly what this course teaches; all the planning, setting targets, how to handle upset situations, how to deal with problematic people and even how to systematically file your folders.

Funny thing is that, many executives don’t even pay any attention to any of these minimal details.  Many believe that it’s the staff’s innate ability to have everything ready and in a presentable manner when in fact the executive himself first has to know all these minimal details.  Once you grasp the essence of management, managing becomes the easiest job in the world for you!

Associate Degree: Targets Are Key

I am Wesley Kuo, a Taiwanese student from Taipei on the associate degree program at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA. I just completed the apprenticeship “How To Expand Your Company By Making Planning Become An Actuality.”

j0283537This apprenticeship was great!  I made a plan and proposal for a company that wanted some marketing consultation done. I outlined the plan, which consisted of major targets, primary targets, vital targets, conditional targets, operating targets and production targets. I put together this plan in a way that it could easily be run without me there.  This is exactly what has occurred, as the company will soon complete it!

Master Consultant: Intention=Productivity

Hi, my name is Stella. I’m from Taiwan and am studying to become a certified Master Consultant at Hubbard College.  I have just completed the course “How To Get Things Done.”

Moving upIntention, Intention, Intention!!

This is what you need in order to get things done.

How often are we stuck on something, and we just can’t seem to move on?  How often do you want others to help you get something done, but they never seem to be able to?   Lack of intention is what causes these unfinished tasks.   The drills in the course are so useful and so very easy to adopt.  They are very powerful tools to use.  These tools enable you to be even more efficient on a daily basis when you are given orders or give orders to and from people around us.

Each drill handles one particular situation.  For example, one drill has you confront the people and objects you’re having trouble with at work.  Another addresses how to relay your order to other departments when everyone is occupied.  One more addresses how to stop someone from distracting an order.  These are the common problems we encounter at any given time in our workforce.   Knowing this tech will indeed help boost your efficiency, and most importantly, save time.

Master Consultant: Communication Is Vital

Hi, my name is Stella. I’m from Taiwan and am studying to become a certified Master Consultant at Hubbard College.  I have just completed the course “Improving Business Through Communication.”

j0202073This course is fun and interesting especially the first few drills, which are more difficult, but rewarding to pass through.  Now I know I’m able to confront the person before me on any occasion, place and time.  These drills will help you flatten any “buttons” you may have about the considerations, barriers, or stops clients will give you.  It actually was surprising how little effort it took to accomplish this, because the drills are setup with precision and relevancy.  Upon finishing, I’m calmer, more stable and am more patient.

Business Management:

My name is Jamie Chang.  I am from Los Angeles and am studying at Hubbard College of Administration International to earn my Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration.  I just finished the Marketing course.

artpromoI had a lot of fun learning marketing. Before starting, I had only a vague idea about what marketing is. After taking this course, I now know what the sequence is and how you “market” the product by creating effective ads, releasing campaigns, etc.  What I liked the most was that in the course, there are a lot of drills that force you to study ads.

The drilling of these ads had an immediate practical application.  For example, last weekend I was in Disneyland with my friend.  We were watching a watershow- World of Color in California Adventure land.  While watching it, I was very touched by the show and started thinking to myself, how did they make this?  How did they come up with these characters, and did they do positioning surveys for this?  All kind of questions came to mind right away.  I was surprised to find myself actually thinking this way.  I felt very proud of myself, because I was really USING the knowledge and APPLYING it in my life!

Degree Program: Surveys Are Key

I am Wesley Kuo, a Taiwanese student from Taipei, Taiwan on the Associate Degree Program at Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA. I just completed the “Surveys” apprenticeship.

You own a business and you sell your products.  Yet, how do you know that what you’re selling is the right product for the right public?  The first thing thatj0315598should come to mind is to do surveys. So, how do you know if you’re conducting surveying properly?

Recently, while walking down the street, a surveyor stopped me and asked for a survey, so I said ok. The survey questions had nothing to do with the product he was trying to gather information on.  It was pointless and a waste of time for him to even be paid to conduct the activity.

Few people have been properly trained in surveying to know that there’s a technology and an art to doing them right. The survey course will give you the data on how to make up the survey questions to find out what is wanted and needed from publics.  For example, the answer to the right questions will symbolize a picture, which can then be put into a promo piece.

I had a lot of fun doing the surveys, and recommend this course to everyone.

Master Consultant: Right Tools, Right Direction

Hi, this is Stella Ou. I am from Taiwan and currently studying to be certified as a Master Consultant at Hubbard College of Administration International.  I’ve just completed the “Company Basics II” course.

j0178537This course is awesome!  It gives you an overview of all the fundamentals a company should operate under.  Although it’s an overview, it gave me many principles that I’m confident I can apply.   The course materials are the key to success in this course.   Every business owner or aspiring entrepreneur should take this course and guard the materials as if it was the bible.  Trust me, you’ll never regret it!

Another tool you learn on this course is the Organizing Board.  This tool gives you a detailed insight how to organize your company to get your products and services including efficient distribution of labor.  This will not only save you a tremendous amount of time, but also help you to gain more time on generating more gross revenue for your company.

Condition formulas are another valuable tool learned.  One can apply condition formulas to both a business and to your individual life.   By studying your company’s statistics, one can soon recognize the condition the company is currently in and immediately know how to handle that condition to ensure company progress.   The formulas are so simple to use.  It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out how to improve a business, and with the right formula, your company will fly high in mere seconds!

There is so much more in this course that is worth mentioning.   You’ll definitely benefit from studying Company Basics II.
