"I attended a Productivity Workshop at the Hubbard College and it really opened my eyes to the fact that there actually was a workable technology that anyone could learn. I toured some businesses in Los Angeles that were using Hubbard Administrative Technology and I was impressed. I saw that these companies were growing and expanding and I wanted to know it for myself."

Associate Degree, Effective Communications

My name is Tiffany, and I just finished the Improving Business Through Communication course at Hubbard College of Administration International.

Before I took the course I felt a little nervous when I talked to others especially strangers and foreigners. But now I found if I can payj0289528close attention and have strong intention (which are the important parts of communication) with them, it isn’t so hard to understand them.  This has made me much more comfortable.

Also, I gained the ability to control the conversation.  If I want to stop it, I can stop it; if I want to start it, I can start it; if I want to know the answer, I can know the answer, etc.

I can use what I’ve learned in every area of my life (school, family, friends, business, etc.).  It really does work!

Business Degree: Managing By Statistics

Hi, my name is Lex. I just finished a course called Management By Statistics at Hubbard College of Administration International.Moving up

It is incredible how this knowledge builds, one course on the other here at Hubbard College. Like the knowledge from the previous course, my confidence in business has done the same. This course, along with the last course I took, has given me the ability to manage my employees without false judgment. One of the most dreaded parts of management (mistakes in promotion and demotion of employees) has been solved for me. This misunderstanding I had is truly solved, as long as, I apply the tools I learned. I very much look forward to the next building block of knowledge and confidence I am sure to receive at HCA!

Business Degree: Become A Better Student

My name is Miriam Anguiano.  I am studying en route to earn my business degree at Hubbard College of Administration International.  I recently finished a study course called How To Achieve Effective Learning.

AG00528_4Well, I never liked reading.  Now I know why!  I never actually knew what the word “reading” meant.  In my many years of education, no one defined this word to me.  It means to look at and understand the meaning of something.  Wow!  It was just a great feeling to clear this up, and now be able to know that this word is an action with an actual purpose.

Business Management Degree: The Essence of Sales

I am Wesley Kuo, a student from Taiwan that just finished the ìSalesî course on the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration.
This is an amazing course!  Basically, in order to sell your product to someone, you have to establish understanding between you and your customer.  This could also be defined as Affinity-Reality-Communication; referred to in the course as the ARC Triangle.
You have to ensure that your customer first understands your product before the sale can be closed.  BUT HOW? This is the essence of the course. You have to do 25 drills in 25 different kinds of situations. Itís a lot, for sure. Itís also an easy way to get you to apply the data in this course. By going through all the sales drills in this course, I have the confidence in my ability to handle all different types of customers and any objections they may have.

Associate Degree: Internship; AN ACTUAL INTERNSHIP!

My name is Miranda Hazen.  I am a degree student from Los Angeles.  I just completed the internship on the Associate of Applied Science degree in Business Management and Administration at Hubbard College of Administration International.
I chose to do my internship at a bridal and evening gown company. This was an amazing learning experience for me and I gained so many wins, as I had to overcome so many challenges.
First of all, I have so much confidence in what I have learned on all of the courses on the degree Program. I have total certainty that I can use all of the knowledge that I have learned. When going into this company, I was able to pin point what areas needed improvement and actually handle them. I feel that I now have so much more confront on many things in life, just by doing this. I am not at all worried about making a successful living on my own now, and itís due to the fact that this program prepares you for anything. It gave me an ability and sense of control that I would have never gotten at any other school out there.
In working in this company I had to use a lot of the basic tools that I have learned.  I used a lot of my communication skills, Affinity-Realty-Communication (ARC) Triangle, the correct gradients, etc. With all of the tools I implemented into her company, I was able to 4x her sales and 3x her production! I also used the HCAI Business Analysis Test to see what the condition her company was in before and after my internship, which showed great improvement.
I also had a wonderful time working with the owner, as I was able to see more closely how the Fashion Industry works. I was able to witness the different day-to-day tasks that she has to do and it was an eye opening experience for me. This was an especially great experience, as my field of interest is fashion.
Overall, this degree program and internship was wonderful! I feel that I now have the ability and strength to succeed in anything I decide to do!

Management training: Formulas for Business Success

My name is Lex Howard and I completed the ìFormulas for Business Successî course at Hubbard College of Administration International (HCA).
I canít express how much confidence it gives me to go back into the workplace and just know that I can make things happen in our company.  When I went to bed each night after course, I would think of all the ways this knowledge is going to be able to be applied to my company, and how I can pass this excitement I feel to the entire staff.  It makes me wish I could stay here full time and go straight through the management program and come back to my company with a fresh new view.
Even though I donít have a full understanding of planning and keeping statistics yet, with just the technology I have learned in Formulas for Business Success, I will make my company flourish.
What impresses me most about Hubbard College is the success of its graduates. I am excited that I can use this technology to be one of them.

Career Education: Why Some Salesmen Can’t Sell

I am Franco Chavez, a Peruvian student from Lima on the Associate Degree Program at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA), Los Angeles, CA.
I always asked myself why there were so many salesmen that couldnít sell or why there were so many salesmen that have this superficial interest in you because deep inside they are thinking of something else? At least a couple of times, Iíve encountered some salesman in such a bad mood that I felt sad about it. While doing this apprenticeship, I realized that it really is hard, if not impossible, to sell a product that you have no interest in. If all these salesmen had at least some minimal interest in what they were selling, their jobs would be so much easier.
From the very first moment my apprenticeship supervisor told me about Vibrant Life as a site for my sales apprenticeship, I was very interested. I like all subjects about nutrition and exercising. So I had good affinity with the product. The vitamins and creams were a great product for me to sell because I knew that by selling them I was in some way helping the buyers to improve their health.
So I personally think that these two ingredients are basic to getting a sale: 1) interest or affinity in the product you are selling and 2) interest in the person that you are selling the product to. This is applicable to anything that you want to sell.
The HCA is a self-paced business school that offers an exceptional business administration curriculum, unique learning technology, life-changing apprenticeships and internships, assistance with job placement and a lifetime warranty for students.  I am currently on the ìMarketingî Apprenticeship.

How I’m Getting an Associate Degree on My Own Schedule

What Makes Hubbard College’s Associate Degree Different from Other Business Administration Degrees?

My experience at the Hubbard College of Administration (HCA) has been different in many ways than any prior school I’ve attended: The New York Collective, Hollywood’s MI (Musician’s Institute), you name it. At other schools I registered for each semester and then was burdened by the class schedule: One class at 10:30 another at 1:00 and then one at 6.  And that’s just one day! So I’d end up having too much time to kill between class, usually not very productive time as I’d be on campus, away from my home where I had other things to tend to.

When I started HCA I was happy to find out that they have a self-paced college degree, which you study in a classroom at your own pace. So I could make my own schedule and not be restricted. Here’s how it works: there are 4 periods per day, each about 2 hours long, one in the morning, two in the afternoon and one after dinner. (I currently go for the 2 afternoon periods 1-6pm with a break between for some food) Some others who work all day do the night period after dinner, so they can still get a degree without having to quit work and get a student loan.

So whatever schedule conflicts I have– jury duty, flat tire, meteor shower, etc… I can always put in my time at school. It’s great, the more periods I put in each week, the faster my degree goes. It depends on me, hey that’s novel… Now I’m getting my associate degree at Hubbard College on my own time!
